Reviews
Creepy Redneck Dinosaur Mansion 3 is a clever game with a variety of puzzles and mission types and great writing. I jumped in to CRDM1 hoping to experience an original story. Instead, this is more of a CRDM3.5 where the story kinda continues except it doesn't know whether it's in the past or future. I could excuse that if the levels were novel or the writing was engaging, but it's all kinda one note.
Consider this a neutral review. This game is pretty fun. But it's really short, only about 3-4 hours. For this price (10€), you can get a lot a great value buying other title. but hey, it was fun, I like the humor. Probably worth waiting for a discount
A sequel to the first CRDM game, and I had a great time with it. There were clever spins on the mechanics, another terrific soundtrack, some fun returning characters, and the comedy is still spot on. It is a more linear experience than the first game, but since it's also shorter, that worked for me. If it had been longer it would have stuck out, but as it is, CRDM 1: Re-raptored is like a perfect chaser.
felt kinda bittersweet in the going, but worth playing for the last line alone.
fun puzzles, funny jokes, baby huncan <3
Needs more secrets / branches. What's here is fun so I can't help but want more.
Overall, I have to recommend this game. If you liked Creepy Redneck Dinosaur Mansion 3, then this is a great "Prequel" to it. However, it is about a third of the length of CRDM3, and has a much more linear storyline. The puzzles are fun, the story is sound, and it was a good playthrough. I think I was expecting more to the game, but good is good.
i enjoy match-3 games and this one makes it really interesting, with attacks and skills you can use, based on the collected items from match-3. loved it! the humour and story telling is great as well, i was saddend that it was so short, though.
Be warned this game is simpler and shorter than CRDM3. But if you wanted just a bit more match 3, it's a good DLC-like story.
VERY SHORT compared to CRDM3. As stated in other reviews feels more like an expansion that its own game. you will need to play the first game CRDM3 to understand whats going on here. Visuals: unique, fun, and silly does not take itself too seriously, it's refreshing Music: some puzzle-fights the music was a step up in intensity, it was nice Mechanics: not much to explain here match-3 with items or skills that let you do funny things. fun to engage with. overall, this games pre-sequel thing (CRDM3) does a lot of the heavy lifting for this game. CRDM1 the quips were shorter and much more vulgar. Which has its place given the new rough and tumble protagonist and crazy antagonist but was a far cry from what I was expecting. Trying to separate it from its pre-sequel it was a decent waste of a few hours but barely worth it. This review is very close to a "Do not recommend"
