Creepy Creepy Love

Really enjoyed this game. The references like the opening being just like Street Fighter 2, and things influenced by Suda51 were nice to see. I also really enjoyed how over the top the brutality combined with this games art style came out. The story is not complex, but what is here definitely does it's job for Rosa the main protagonist who pretty much seeks beating the crap out of who she deems as rivals. Switching the gameplay from fighting the rivals into something similar like the NES games "River City Ransom" and "Kung Fu" was a nice change of pace, and honestly wish their was much more of it. The music also surprised me with how well it fit certain tones ranging from up beat to almost haunting. My only complaints would be even though the main combat of the game does have a nice flow, it does become sorta spam to win. The opponents can block if you use a move repeatedly, but if you swap around both your arms and legs you can pretty much get around them blocking a lot. Only on Akuma difficulty do they actually become a threat, but once you figure out a pattern when to hit them it is actually not that hard any more. Last, being able to block pretty much everything is really strong since theirs almost no counter your opponents have against it, unless it's on very specific moments during a fight which is very few. The combat was still quite fun for a game this small especially when an opponent, or yourself was knocked down trying to land/prevent the final blow. If the fighting aspect of this game with the rivals and the walking segments had more depth to it's gameplay especially as a beat'em up it would elevate a game like this further. Last, I just want to say the comic was a very nice addition for purchase. The comic looks to have some influence from "Scott Pilgrim" if I'm not mistaken or at least that's sorta the vibe I got. Overall, really enjoyed playing Creepy Creepy Love, and it's a total steal at only $4.99 with the quality put into this small indie game.

Pretty fun but I'm bad at fighting games

Juego muy interesante y divertido, si amas el concepto de las "Yanderes" este es tu título! Es corto pero muy divertido, se nota el amor y esfuerzo en cada parte del juego. Como artista, adoro el arte por sobretodo, el diseño de la propia Rosa es mi favorito! <3 La historia me ha gustado mucho y solo he sacado uno de los finales, ya quiero ver que más historias o momentos interesantes me entregará cuando lo complete al 100% !! MUY RECOMENDADO :D

Shōjo manga if they weren't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ AROUND, CLENCH THOSE TEETH YOU ♥♥♥♥♥!!!! It's not the longest game, but it get's to the point fast. Simplistic in design, but satisfying punch out combat with alot of weight and sound to it. Opponents just LOVE to dodge and besides the 1 or 2 fights, I found myself able to just cheese my way through with blocks, most special moves where no match for my masterful blocks, seemingly unable to do ♥♥♥♥ about it. Characters make themselves heard and known, making beating the canines out of them all the more fun. Either I'm very ♥♥♥♥ or this truly is a game where the first to make a mistake is the loser. If you are knocked down, it's basically down to luck if you can get back on your feet ♥♥♥♥♥! There's probably some strategy I'm missing as I flail around trying to land hits more often than my opponent, so literally like school life. I like the comedy, best described as being 12-15 years old, finding an anime, on mid 2000s YouTube, that you are obviously not supposed to be watching for free and unsupervised. A more, simpler...horrible time... Only real complaint would be, needs the ability to skip cut-scenes all together, not just speed through text. Especially for those who just want to get the other endings/achievements or just want to get to the action. Some more variety in gimmicks would've been nice, there isn't too much after the second fight. Maybe an arcade mode? Maybe? Even multiplayer would be funny, but that's probably not a priority, it's got enough on it's own solo experience. [spoiler]Including the original version of the game is a nice touch, really shows how far it's come.[/spoiler] Got it discounted, and I think the experience was good for that price. Pushing for those last achievements, in a satisfying way.

Saw a Let's Play of this game way back and wanted to try the updated version. As a lover of yanderes I had a great time fighting for love as Rosa. The combat is a little slow but overall it was a fun experience.
