It's a fun little game, but the game play loop is short and you run out of replayability pretty quick in my opinion. I'd love to see this expanded on and more upgrades/meta progression and meat added to the game. It has so much potential. I have given it recommended as I feel for the sale price it's worth it and I like the overall concept and game - but I really wish it had more. In just a few hours it felt like all the fun was gone and there were no more upgrades to be had to become a bit more OP. You need to be very exacting in when to place a tower, upgrade etc to really progress after a while which sucks the fun out of it. It need more meta upgrades so you can become better each run rather than running out and now it's just grinding a very perfect strategy to get further.
Fun little tower defence game, with clean game play. Love the Godot vibes.

I'm not crazy about the tiny amount I played. The loop was quick and I did 3 runs in 15 minutes. I don't really like trading my pops for money or for towers, and the few tower upgrades I saw were only standard starter ones but even they they seemed to be downgrades. I could trade 4 gold per day from my mine for more damage, but to what end? I needed more defence so I had to, but now I die the next night because I can't earn gold fast enough to repair my gate. Maybe it gets more interesting as it goes, but my initial feeling was that I was helpless to do anything but get lucky enough to roll good upgrades early one which suggests to me the game will either be way too easy later as you get the permanent upgrades unlocked or even more frustrating for me. I think this concept is for someone, but not me.
I really wanted to like Creeping Dusk, but there's just not much of substance going on in the game. The difficulty compared to the damage is all over the place, a lot of the skill tree is just useless garbage, and to top it all off there's just not a lot going on in the game either. It's nice to look at, and it didn't burn my house/PC down, but I'm struggling to think of nice things to say about Creeping Dusk compared to the fact that the main loop is shallow, slow, tedious and un-necesarily difficult compared to the lackluster options available. Maybe this is someone's first project, or someone's first attempt at a better, similar title, and if so - you had an interesting idea, but it just doesn't land. Especially given as this is a tower defence with one lane and sharply ramping costs. It feels like the difficulty is in place to slow down the gameplay enough to keep you engaged until after a refund window, almost, which isn't a kind thing to say but I do wonder if that's part of it. Sorry to say, but, Creeping Dusk just isn't worth a purchase.
Fun short tower defense game. No storyline, just tower defense. Took me about 3-4 hours to complete 3 of the 4 campaign levels. The last level is an endless mode. Level 3 was a bit challenging, but doable.
tower defense nothing else good
The game it self is not bad, but does have its problems. Gonna give it an up, as the price is not bad, compared to what you get and how fun is what you are getting, but could use some polish and more things into it, so if the developer still updates it, i will for sure come back to this little gem. The idea is good, the music is nice, the design does its job, the main problem is, you kinda have "one way" to play this and dont offer to much diversity, in a sense, that if you try out new builds and whatnot, you just get overwhelmed. Campaign itself can offer challange, to me, it was mildly difficult, but i can see why many stuggles with it. The last map (the infinite one) is just too hard imo, needs some balance. Overall, i would say, if you are a fan of tower defense games, pick it up, maybe on a sale, can be entertaining for a few hours ^^.
It's fine for its price. You can get a few hours of fun out of it, although the game clearly has a lot more potential. In its current form, it is definitely repetitive after 3-5 games, but again, it's ~6 $/€, well worth the pice :)
I love a game that forces you to have to make a choice between spending workers/resources on defending, or on giving yourself a larger amount of workers/resources so your defenses can be stronger later. A very casual game that never really needs you to click around too much. My only wish would be i would like a few more faster time speed-ups, as some early waves can drag.
