Crash Dive 2

This is inexpensive fun - not as complex as Wolves of the Pacific etc. but you can have the essential elements of a sub sim. Graphics are good enough to make the game enjoyable and the basics of submarine warfare are in the game (slower is less visible, keep a narrow profile to enemies etc.) No glitches or crashes with Win 11, Geforce RTX 3070.

I was looking for a fun sub game. and seen this in the search. Just played a little and it's a blast. Sure its not a full blown sim, it doesn't need to be. Highly recommend if you're looking for a game you can jump right into and sink ships. lol

The game gives you a sense of realism while not being overly technical. At least it allows you to be as technical as you like. And you can change the difficulty level to suit your playing style. I also like the idea of commanding american subs and not focusing on German U-boats like other games do.

Excellent sim-light game. Much deeper than Crash Dive 1 but nowhere near as obtuse as a pure sim such as Silent Hunter (for example, the game will calculate a firing solution for you rather than making you figure out how to do it yourself). The maps are huge and you have full control over where you want to go. You can comelete objectives, destroy enemy bases, or just cruise around intercepting convoys.

the game has arcade looks, but it actually runs pretty deep, no pun, in game modding, fast travel. I think it falls between Uboat and silent hunter, there is maual torpedo aiming, surface guns are pretty good too.worth the $14 canuck dollars i spent on it.
