While I haven't had time to play this for very long, the couple of hours so far have been enjoyable.
This is s clanky, poorly optimized game whcih has no business to be so resource hungry for what it is. Every interaction here is awkward and there is no really an action a pleyaer can do that feels pleasant (jumping, walking, fighting, speaking to NPCs, using the inventory, nothing). Yet.... I javen't been able to put the game down. It has an odd charm about it. The difficulty of the fights (including the one caused by the controls and the game feedback) and scarcity of the resources make it reasonably challenging. The atmosphere is good. The ugly NPCs grow on you. When you return to the cleaned levels that used to be challenging the danger is replaced by familiarity changing the perspective 180. The exploration is enjoyable and risky enough. There are no quest markers whcih is a joy in this day and age. I do with the game was better made, and possibly it will be parched and become better. It is a good game with a less than good execution. And it is much better than a well crafted bad game.
