About

In Craggenrock, play as Arlo, a budding blacksmith returning to the monster-infested island of Halina. Set up shop in the recovering town of Pareho, craft essential gear for adventurers and locals, and build your name (and your fortune) from the forge up.

Pick from hundreds of materials and recipes. Prepare components at various workstations, then time your inputs in a skill-based crafting system to forge high-quality gear. Use catalysts to raise your creations’ stats.
Eventually, unlock a unique recipe influenced by your choices: your very own Craggenrock.
Keep your shop full and price your items based on their quality to keep customers coming back. Running out of stock? Visit other merchants and grab anything from wood and fabric, to herbs and gastric acid!
Level up your Crafting and Sales skills and invest in talents to shape your playstyle. Want to earn bigger tips? Boost the stats of mastered items? The choice is yours!
Get jobs from adventurers for extra income. Haggle for higher offers with small talk, confidence and maybe desperation. Just don’t miss your deadlines!
Get to know life in Pareho and support the town's efforts to rebuild itself with town donations. Expand your shop as you rediscover life back in Arlo's old hometown.

An interesting game and I'd like to see it grow, but it's missing a lot of QoL features that are frankly confounding that they aren't in the game. For instance, having twenty people walk by an item exclaiming how cheap I'm selling it for, without anyone actually buying it, is frustrating. Lower the amount of customers if they aren't actually going to get anything even if it's underpriced. Seeing thirty people walk through without getting anything doesn't feel good. Next, the hotbar makes very little sense. Picking stuff up feels awkward when you hold it above your head, unsure of how to store it. Third, and a small detail, going up to 390 in price and raising it buy 10 should go to 400, but instead you have to lower the 9 to zero and raise the 3 to four. That said, the core of the game seems interesting, if weirdly buggy for the aesthetic. I cannot recommend this in its current state, as I feel like the past hour of my time has been wasted staring at people coming into my shop, saying how cheap my items are, and then leaving. Without sales, I can't even purchase the ore to make more items, so I'm literally stuck doing nothing but waiting for people to actually buy things... And it's been four days. Yeah, I'm out.
Hey! I’m the guy you met at PGDX 2024. Looks like the big day’s finally here, congrats! 😄 The graphics are super cute, and the gameplay is just as chill and easy to enjoy as I expected. If you’re looking for something to slow things down a bit and just vibe… this game’s got you covered.
you made the game unplayable. It crashes as soon as i wake up after not selling the knife
