Some plague is happening and the city is quarantined. It's a real cheap price for only $6 USD, but there is a reason for that. It's in Early Access and well, it's very unpolished. I would have loved to have done a full review for this game. Unfortunately, I ran into too many bugs. My whole experience ended when I encountered a game-breaking bug that stopped my progress about 20 minutes into the game. I tried picking up a book to place it in the correct order, but the book would disappear. There's no inventory system. I tried seeing if the book would spawn back when I clicked on the place to place the book, but nothing happened. You need to place the books to get a key to open a door to be able to progress. Even before that game-breaking bug, I encountered several others. I had a shot glass stay stuck in my hand. I found it almost impossible to pick up notes. I could pick up keys, but only after several tries, same thing with trying to open a door, or trying to get ammo. You just have to keep pressing trigger near the object you're trying to get. If you get too close to a wall, you start losing health. You have full locomotion and teleportation options, along with smooth and snap turning options. Unfortunately, there aren't many graphics settings and none that will really help you. The game environments / map looks nice, but the 3D models and animations are bad. There are some nice VOs & cinematic sequences, but the sound mix is terrible. The shooting mechanic is pretty bad in this game. You have one button press reloads. Given all the bugs I encountered in my little time I played this game, I couldn't recommend it. Early Access doesn't mean you release a broken game on the Steam store and hope people buy it. This game is the perfect example of why Steam should scrap the EA program. You can't trust devs to put out a working product. I'm just glad I didn't have to pay to beta test this game.
