A lot of interesting mechanisms and differentiation in the characters (Teri's spread thing is a neat mini-game with each click) but I'm pretty sure the game has been abandoned. A shame, because it has / had a lot of potential.
Such a simple concept, yet a TON of fun to play, especially with friends. It feels more unique than expected and is 100% worth getting. Waiting to see what the developers have in store because there is so much more it can go and I want more!
This is not there yet. Concepts show promise, but this lacks so much polish that this can not be recommended by any means in this state. It lacks in litereally every department. Bad Gunplay, bad animations, bad feedback, unpolished skill system and a lot more.
is ok
This game is pretty solid that gives that classic video game feel of a shooter. really cool interactions with everything overall
I'm going to say this is mostly a good game and very fun to play, but it's not without frustrations like having your long cooldown ability get blocked by invisible hitboxes of items, and some powerups feel just about worthless. You have to play through the game a lot to see how some abilities synergize and how some power ups affect certain abilities while not affecting others. I think it could be more detailed and have more interesting power ups in the grid. Getting a small bonus here and there doesn't feel very great. That being said the bosses are fun but with the exception of Sam I feel like most of the characters are too hard for me to play as I take too much damage and their healing is anemic. The game asks you to be perfect at dodging when it's not perfect at sloppy hitboxes and that gets frustrating. I think there could be more healing boosts. also its weird that the health booster person (or the outlaw) doesn't show up anymore past the first level. Also feel like there's supposed to be more levels as when you beat the final boss it gives you a weapon and a level like you're going to go on? I don't know maybe I need to be on a higher tier but that's just another thing you are left on your own to figure out. All in all though, I think this is definitely worth a buy and play.
Not recommended at this time. While it has potential it is very repetitive, the "hallway"-sections are tedious as hell. Most characters have 1 single skill that breaks them completely. Take the machine gunner, if you take the 15% dmg on reload, you can sit in the start of the room before enemies spawn and just spam reload until your bullets do 10,000 damage on every shot. This just shows the lack of testing and lack of thought that go into this game. Similarly, who the hell thought adding a mandatory shoot all the barrels for 1 coin and walk around collecting it mod was a good idea?? It's OP as ♥♥♥♥ and at the same time super tedious.
I love how this game mixes a roguelike power fantasy with fast twitch combat. At first the combat can take a few runs to learn because the combat style is different from most action shooters. My first run I got hit by almost every shot. After a few runs I understood how to time my dodges and which ques to watch for from the enemies. Once this clicked I started having so much fun in the game. The progression is really rewarding and you get rewarded often to get that hit of dopamine right after pulling off something badass. The skill tree is unique and actually works your brain in a satisfying way.
