About

A fast-paced RTS where strategies and tactics, not build orders, decide the outcome. Rapidly build cities and command armies in explosive tactical battles without the usual grind.

Counter your opponents with well-timed troops or upgrades. Can’t break through their fortifications? Deploy the giants! Having a hard time with those pesky priest heals? Upgrade Poisoned Tips to let them rot!

Customise your armies with over 40 unique upgrades. Are you a turtle? Have your castle shoot bombs, or your merchants greet their harassers with a rain of arrows! Aggressive much? Deploy troops directly on the frontline with parachutes or redirect their projectiles with hurricanes!

Crush enemies with holy armies. Monceaux is a kingdom of valiant knights and warriors. Their versatile troops, strong siege engines, and holy healing ways are easy to learn but hard to master.
Overwhelm with elemental chaos. Fahad is a nomadic culture that harnesses the power of ancient elements. Take to the battlefield with fast, high-damage troops and impactful magics.
Outgun them with industrial firepower. The URA are a republic of scientists and engineers. What they lack in speed and defence, they compensate for with tactical superiority and sheer firepower!

Conquer a campaign with a wild cast of questionable characters, or jump into battle mode and see how long you last against an army of elementals.
Campaign Mode: Guide a paranoid king, a lost shaman, and a grumpy general as they rampage over the lands with ever-changing loyalties.
Battle Mode: Create one-off skirmishes against up to three AI-controlled armies across multiple maps, from a simple river crossing to active volcanoes.
Testing Grounds: Test your tactics against armies of any size! Money is no object in Test Grounds, so build up your and your enemy's forces, and let combat commence in battles with endless possibilities.

Cute strategy game with a rather fast pacing which in my eyes suits the depth it offers. Speaking of which, it's relatively simple and easy to learn, still requires much thought especially at the start. Do you want to expand and capture stuff or go full economy(which is only one resource, but that doesn't make it much easier) and research which could end in a quick defeat. Balancing all these things is the heart of an RTS in my eyes and for now it seems pretty decent. The AI seems competent and the campaign on hardest difficulty is a rly good challenge. Unit movement seems to still struggle sometimes with following orders and pathfinding, but which RTS doesn't have such problems. Sadly there is no multiplayer (yet?) but for a 'Singleplayer RTS' with the amount of content I experienced so far I think 10€/11€ is a fair price.
Incredible game, can't wait to see what other content comes in the future. It's a super fun RTS which has a low entry point but high complexity. I often stay away from RTSs because I feel like it takes me hours just to understand the basics of the game, but this RTS removes that huge entry investment and teaches you the mechanics in a very fun and engaging manner while not being overwhelming. Don't be fooled though, the game ranks up in complexity and difficulty, testing your skills, strategies, and understanding of the underlying systems of the game. Highly recommend!!
Good - Or Almost perfect
A nice game with lot of potential, lovely storytelling and graphics - and groovy background music. It needs some minor adjustments to be my new most favourite indie game. I love Counter Clash and I want to help improving. These are my points.
Solid but needs improvement
Whats most annoying and needs to be fixed in my eyes: - When constructing a building not only the selected group of workers starts to build. Every free worker is automatically moving to the construction site. This might seem helpful because they're building faster together but in the end it's rather annoying. Workers group up to a big cloud and you have to reassign every single unit to the position you wanted them to be before. For example when you want to build several buildings on different spots. - In my opinion the difficulty (I am playing on normal) is too hard in the tutorial missions. If you're new to the gameplay and want to get used to the mechanics it's not helpful when your buildings are being constantly attacked. Especially because the production of units takes a bit of time.
How to earn my "5th star"
What I miss: - A possibility to group units on a hotkey for quicker access and movement around the map (especially when you move different types of units into battle). - A clearer audio and visual feedback when units are produced or you're being attacked. First time I didn't even notice the attack because I was exploring the map elsewhere. - A hotkey or ingame button to select idle workers so you don't need to search for them. - A modern English . I would recommend reducing ancient vocabulary to a minimum. E.g. "thou" is used instead of "you", which might be confusing for most of the players. - A shorter production time of units . This would create a quicker gameplay and a better possibility to "counter clash" ;) enemy attacks.
Unit movement is terrible. Units come in teams of 5 and it feels like they all want to move in different directions so in the end they either walk in circles or choose worst way imaginable. It feelt so bad to use units, my main strat became building towers everywhere. Too bad worker teams sometimes make 1 dude do all the work while others watch, so in the end they finish task 5 times slower (can be fixed by reasigning them on the task). Until movement is fixed, i don't recomend this game (unless you want to feel constantly frustrated)
This game is great! There is so much depth to it already and its only just entered early access. The campaign gets quite hard quite quickly so i checked out testing ground and could play around with all the different factions and units which really helped me to understand the strengths and weaknesses of each unit. It reminded me a little of TABS which is cool! I'd love to see battle stats in testing grounds, maybe some challenges and choice of different battlegrounds / arenas like you get with the battle mode. I cant wait to see what gets added to the game through early access
Good gameplay and addictive style – I played less than an hour because I almost missed my train :) What works? I really enjoy the gameplay and the overall style – I'm not a hardcore RTS player, yet it was a lot of fun. The tutorial and introduction are well done. I do wonder if the gameplay shouldn't be a bit faster at times... I'm not sure, but I'll keep testing. The graphics and styling are really nice – you can tell the whole game was made with care and intention. And the soundtrack, though simple, really grew on me. I’ll definitely keep playing.
pretty fun :) i like the art the gameplay was surprisingly hard, but not enough to be off-putting, in my opinion would recommend if it seems like something you'd enjoy
So far it is a good game, definitely woth the price. It's a nice little strategy game where you can play 3 different factions with different units and buildings and 2 different heros each. It is not mega complex and it doesn't have to be to be fun. It may be in early access but I would say it already got enough conted to justify the price. And the dev is also looking into the discussions and looking for feedback which is also a very good sign. The only negative I have is that idle works try to get building sites. I can get behind the idea of it, to make management easier, but for me it is rather annoying when I start looking for my workers because they ran off. But this can very well be a me thing. Overall a very fine game that I will play more often and having an eye on its future.
Simples e divertido. Vale a pena.
Nice and smooth art style addictive game play
