Coraroc

Very fun and simple platformer with a lot of personality from the art to the music to the story! A nice little adventure that is both challenging yet relaxing. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to experience a slice of retro platforming in the modern age!

Great cozy, bite-sized platformer with a SLAPPING soundtrack (honestly surprised that the soundtrack isn't available for purchase, it's real good).

This game came up algorithmically in the discovery queue for me. While there's an onslaught of roguelite trading card "pick 3" titles, Coraroc broke through the barrier with its "game recognizes game" content. You play the knock-off reddit logo while freeing other redditors. It plays like SMB1 and even comes at a price point of purchasing multiple cousin titles in the early aughts.

I'm 4 levels in, and I'm really enjoying it so far. The level variety is nice, and there quite a few sneaky, devious little traps that make exploring the levels interesting and dangerous. Collecting all the coins and finding the hidden statues seems like it will be a good challenge! I wouldn't call this game fiendishly difficult or anything, but you definitely have to stay on your toes.

Tough as nails but I am the hammer!!! A banger soundtrack and rewarding level design make this game really standout. If you love challenging platformers like Celeste then you will love Coraroc.
