Refreshing farm sim. I love the aesthetics of this game. As a veteran of The Sims series: I prefer my main characters to look as human-like as possible. I don't do pixels. I for damn sure don't do furry animal people. I also hate the short, stubby, thumbnails with feet looking people like with farm/life sims running around. I also don't like them looking like children. I also have zero patience for annoyances, but with Coral Island I find all the characters refreshing. They act like people. They have flaws. They have allergies, Some keep up barriers. Some got major life decisions on their minds. Others have Boomer parents that think kids are supposed to be carbon copies of them. We have a Merman that likes beer...? (I'm just... puzzled at that.) These NPCS aren't just randos running into each other and your avatar. We got families running around. We got in-laws, exes, hippies with ducks.... We also have elementals, a deity, and some other weird things lurking in and out of your avatar's life. There are very few games where I like the whole cast of characters (FFXII, Persona 1, and Persona 2, Digital Devil Saga) EXCEPT Sam the Grocery Store Owner. I totally hate that guy. I wish I could run a business that NEVER opened. If you decide to play this game--- you'll feel me. Never, ever, have I wanted to transfer the Sims Console command and delete a bastard from another game. I have NEVER seen a non-villian work SO HARD to counter ALL PROGRESSION in your game. There are complaints, but I can't think of them anymore because I feel that NO ONE WANTS TO ADDRESS THE LAZY ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM! The game is great. I find it more relaxing than playing the Sims, really. It's like playing a save where all the Custom Content works, the core mods work, and there are NO HORSES running through your house. I recommend the multiplayer--- CROSS CONSOLE---with friends and get stuff done quicker... well, as quick as can be with SAM'S STORE ALWAYS BEING CLOSED. I recommended this game, with a nice icy drink to sip. If there's a sale that includes the soundtrack, totally go for that, the music is very chill.
stupid game, keeps crashing for no reason
I was excited to see Agung was added as a romance option until reading there is no divorce option.
Full of UI locks and crashes, I don't think this will be playable ever.
esse jogo concerta todos os problemas que eu tive com stardew valley, mto mto bom!!!!
This game stole my heart. I've started playing it not long after its release, it was incomplete with many areas under development. I still managed to achieve a lot in game and stopped playing for quite some time. Now, after big updates I am back and addicted again. The small changes and quality of life improvements make me enjoy every minute of it, the game is very relaxing and serves as a wonderful way to escape the reality. I'd say the only downside of Coral Island - all the characters are so nice and beautiful, it's very hard to choose who to romance XD
It's a really great game and very cozy. I feel like its better than most of the other games in its genre like stardew valley (very gross game, ewwwww) The developers are still updating the game and adding pretty amazing new content and quality-of-life stuff.
It's super cute and I love the direction they are going, but it has some very huge problems right now with game breaking bugs. It didn't spawn crucial cutscenes in the diving part of the game so I am stuck plus I didn't know that the item from this cut scene was needed and now I'm in winter realizing that I have to probably make a whole new game file, so not great. If they fixed these things it would be great, but as it stands, pass.
Coral Island is great, but the second farm completely ruined the game
so fun and calming!!
