I just finished art school and this game is 100% true to the art school experience. Any art student will tell you that the print room is a world of its own and the students that live there are some of the strangest and most creative people you will ever meet (I'm not a huge printmaker myself outside of the occasional linocut and risograph and already I miss the print room). Also I have adored quirky RPGs for most of my life and this was the perfect game for me. The visuals were gorgeous and stylistically strong. I loved the characters, setting and the dialogue was A+++, I was simultaneously unnerved and enamoured by everything I encountered in this game, my two favourite feelings to feel whenever I engage with art. And of course, respect the craft!
I like this game a lot I like how every object I press makes a nice noise even though they don't do anything it made me feel rewarded for trying and I love redman and I liked what happens when you steal plushies. I disliked getting lost I got lost a lot and in order to progress I had to go in routes that I didn't even think of going to because it didn't look like an option and I hated going back and forth in the map. I also like the fighting system. I don't do printmaking so I didn't understand what worked against what such as the chemicals, lithography, etc., and I didn't find that aspect intuitive but I did enjoy leveling the characters up and figuring out how to use the crafts and the items. I basically brute-forced it by leveling them up super high and sleeping the enemies and blocking and using the craft skill that increases attack mostly and ended up defeating the angel at like level 80+ for most of the characters but I enjoyed that too plus each enemy is different and interesting to me.
:DDDDDDDD
Great game, Respect the craft.
Quite a groovy experience. For my first playthrough, I got lost while trying to sniff out some secrets and loot, and ended up in the Magenta world with only 3 party members, completely ignoring Bad Girl. One of my first encounters was with two Copper Knights; those fellas are quite beefy, but I was welcomed to the luck and I had a makeshift pipe bomb handy. After this, I realized I should probably explore other areas first, and then I followed the standard CMYK sequence. With Bad Girl. She got hands.
RESPECT THE CRAFT.
e um jogo simples de RPG maker .Rem alguns problemas com level design e com a curva de nível, mas foi legal. Tem uma ambientação bem [unica, personagens legais, o design dos monstros é ótimo, dá pr ver que foi desenvolvido com carinho.
RESPECT THE CRAFT!! Copper Odyssey has a charming world and perspective that will captivate you the moment you begin. For fans of the arts and printmaking; the combat system, designs, and story is based on printmaking. There is genuinely not another game that has made me desire and strive to improve my own skills as an artist as CO. Though it's shorter than other games made on the engine, I would argue this is one of the greatest RPG Maker games ever made. At worst, it will give you a new perspective on the process of printmaking and making art. At best, it will change your life. Expect jank, nonsensical pathways, and a extremely breakable combat system. It just works, and it's beautiful because of that.
Worth playing. Let's all love Monitor..
such a lovely and pretty game. respect the craft
