Played the demo and I really liked this game! It is a very cosy cooking simulator, where you play as a chef running a restaurant. The gameplay is pretty simple and intuitive, and the game is easy to play. The recepies are not hard to make, but some may be more complex than the others. Gameplay sometimes tends to be tedious and repetetive, but the cool art graphic design compensates it fully! It is marvellous and stunning, and is certainly a pleasure to look at! Very cosy & cute artstyle and a chill gameplay makes a perfect duo and is a great way to spend your time with joy! Totally recommended to try and enjoy, this game just might take your breath away! It is definetly a masterpiece to enjoy and an eye candy for sure! The developers are really nice and it's easy to see that they poured their heart and soul into this game! Cheers to the Dev team and waiting eagerly for the future releases! P. s. the price is a bit expensive, but oh well, there are much more other pricey games, which quality are far more less satisfying than this one for sure

Pros - Graphics are good, - Charming characters and dialog. - The controls are fine, the cooking is all very pleasant. Cons - Several problems with the main cooking game-play. - Somethings you would expect to be in a recipe are missing. - Kind of related to the first point, Extra items show up in the served dish you didn't add. - Lazy recipes e.g. tomato juice (blend and serve), tomato creme (blend, heat and serve), tomato Gazpacho (blend, chill and serve) - You can't deviate from the recipe at all. So you can't add you own flair, gets boring. - Weird concepts like if you leave ice in the freezer too long, you loose the ice. the freezer has to be defrosted. - You seem to just cook one recipe after another like the game is just one giant tutorial. The game is going for chill but for me its so completely on rails that it takes the fun out of cooking and comes off more boring than chill. That being said I think it would still be harsh to give it a thumbs down. The art-style is very cozy and if your looking for something that you can just turn your brain off for awhile then this is a perfect fit.
Do you like cozy-cute graphics? Do you enjoy illustrations of delicious foods? Are you looking for a feel-good game to mindlessly while away a few hours? Then this game might be for you! :D I confess, when I bought this I was hoping for a little bit more of the 'puzzle-feel' that Tell Me Your Story had - only with food/cooking as the main theme. That's not what this is. It's straight-up a cooking game with a teeny bit of story that loosely ties into the Tell Me Your Story universe. As with the original game, the illustrations are beautiful (and will definitely make you hungry.) LOL! However, as others have said in their reviews, the cooking processes are very basic and frustratingly slow at times (especially when you're trying to get certain achievements.) >.< For anyone unsure (and/or unfamiliar with the first game), I'd suggest waiting for a sale. Cooking for Love very much feels geared towards those who played/enjoyed Tell Me Your Story, so if you haven't, then there might not be enough here to hold your interest. Also - for any parents out there, this is a super cute (and relatively easy) intro to cooking games if you have a little one who's interested in the genre - or who just likes cooking in general. ^_^
this is a simple game with simple recipes that all involved a combo of the same like 5-10 ingredients, it was nice but definitely get it on sale.
this game should be 5$ and for children. its incredibly simple, boring and monotonous. but a child might enjoy it.
Very disappointed with this game. It is different from what I and everyone who has been waiting for this game expected. The story is told with cute and colorful images like the first game. Although the first game is very good, I have to wait to think about playing the second game first. For the second game, the restaurant should continue the story with the characters like the first game, not just having people come to eat and talk. The characters are the same, just change the words. Not everyone can read the language. For me, just looking at the cute illustrations and the cute and heartwarming story is enough. The illustrations alone make you understand. Even small children can understand. But when it comes to the second game, it doesn't feel worth keeping. I expected the second part to be another side of the man's life, showing the attitude, thoughts, and feelings from the first time I met the woman until the age when she passed away or something like that. The cooking process is repetitive and boring. When making ice, just close the refrigerator door. Why do you have to change the page to close the door to remind the time? It's complicated. Plus, there is no bowl to store the cooked food, so I have to throw it away. In conclusion, I will return the game.
