You can enjoy always comedic talk of 6 episodes and emotional effects with conspiracy girls. I think fair price.
I still have plenty to see in this wonderful VN as I've only just finished through the first of six episodes. Great artwork, music, transitions, animations, menu, font and letter size! It was great fun reading through the first chapter and it will make you laugh a lot! Unfortunatelly, the dialogues aren't perfect and you may get confused at times (it needs some improvement) BUT it doesn't change the fact that this was an awesome experience and I had an amazing time with it. You are dropped in the middle of events trying to figure out what's what and it's quite amusing! It takes a while to understand the details but the main theme is spot on! Decent lenght as it takes about 1,5h for the first episode only so if the rest are about the same, it's money well spent. I would recommend it for everyone and especially those that are looking for a unique experience. Nice work and outcome! The dialogues could use some improvement like I said, but nothing deal-breaking. Enjoy! For more reviews, follow my curator https://store.steampowered.com/curator/44864435-Mewesome-Reviews/
I'm reviewing Steam games in alphabetical order, and you can watch my review here: https://youtu.be/Mte2nGhqOMM Prefer to read? Conspiracy Girls as a linear visual novel that varies in quality between acceptable and sub-par. There are times where the game will totally freeze and you need to reload and then skip past that point in order to proceed. Given the subject matter, I was expecting some pretty edgy content, but instead it's a pretty scattered plot told from an inconsistent point of view, with jokes that fail to land. Because there is no glossary for terms, and because Japanese words are just thrown in at random, you'll spend a lot of time pulling out your phone to google translate things. At which point, just stay on your phone, it's probably more interesting than this. Maybe worth it on sale if you're a big fan of 4Chan internet humor and sub-par visual novels. Otherwise, avoid.
Adorable and humorous little niche novel that starts out really nice, but later on kinda drops off. I liked most of the main cast and the general setting of things, but I really didn't like the focus on the main plot and how it was moved forward. Especially early on there's a pretty big info dump, but this generally won't stop, ever. Throughout the entire game you're being told about X and Y faction, and this and that famous person who did that one thing for the people/"continent". The pacing feels off and I believe this would've worked better if there were 8 or even 10 chapters instead of just 6. Each chapter takes around a good hour to get through. If the length per chapter was kept and a few extra chapters were added this could've been smoother, pacing-wise. I liked the first two chapters the most since they felt the most light-hearted and we got to meet the side characters and stuff. The dialogue also felt the best during those chapters, excluding the info dumps. The middle is so-so and last two chapters are kinda misbalanced. Chapter 5 is actually pretty good again, but then 6 is rather anti-climactic. Besides the story, my biggest issue with this game was the stability. I've had probably half a dozen, if not more, incidents where the game would hang and I had to restart the chapter or reload a save. One time a previous save, which worked before, became perma-softlocked too, where after loading I couldn't progress the text box. This would persist through a reboot of the game. It seems like the game has issue with timings and if a timing is missed the next event won't trigger, something like a screen flashing or scene change. Besides that, there were a few typos (actual typos) here and there, but nothing noteworthy. For what it's worth this VN is pretty alright, but if there's a sequel to this, one way or another, I really hope the pacing and writing are better. I'd like to see more light-hearted stuff (we didn't even get a beach filler episode in this one..) and have the "serious" part of the story take up less time. I know I keep harping about those things, but something about them felt slightly off in this story. So I hope the sequel, if there ever is one, is just better overall. High, more serious stakes with a less anti-climactic outcome. That being said, Ayano best girl. SP GSP
So Sigma !!!
