About

There is no tragedy in it,
for only in the end can a beginning be born.
They say the Crimson Core held the heart of the world.
But on the day the Prism Wizard took it from humanity, its light went out…
announcing the apocalypse.
The skies filled with storms engraved with ancient runes.
The tides devoured the shores.
Plagues and misfortunes were unleashed upon the land.
For centuries, the Iron Order protected the Continent from darkness.
Today, its voice resounds in one last Crusade that rises toward the edge of the sky:
the Infinity Tower.
Ten vaults.
Ten worlds.
Ten trials that will decide whether saving the world is worth the price demanded by such a mission.
Among the crusaders marches a young one,
a lesser dragon, stubborn and bright,
a spark in the midst of dusk.
The Red Crusade has begun.
And if the end comes, those who seek salvation in the Tower will be the last to know.

A deep, expansive story divided into episodes that explore the mysterious vaults of the Tower.
An original, immersive soundtrack composed to enhance every key moment of the adventure.
Available in both Spanish and English, with full localization in each language.

Не плохо, не скажешь что игра бесплатная.
Agebringer is a really interesting fantasy adventure that caught my attention because of how ambitious its world feels. The story starts with the Crimson Core being stolen and the world falling into an apocalypse, while a young lesser dragon joins the final crusade toward the mysterious Infinity Tower. I like how dramatic the setup is, because it immediately gives the adventure a feeling of being much bigger than its simple two dimensional presentation suggests. The game is built around a story focused adventure structure, with the journey taking place across mysterious vaults and different worlds inside the tower. I like the idea of each area having its own identity and challenge while still contributing to the larger journey. The fantasy setting mixes dragons, magic, ancient orders and supernatural disasters, which gives the story plenty of room to become much more interesting as the adventure continues. The young dragon protagonist is probably my favorite part of the premise. Having a smaller and more inexperienced character marching into an enormous final crusade gives the story a nice contrast. I like the idea of following someone who is not presented as an unstoppable hero from the beginning, but rather as a stubborn little figure trying to make a difference while everything around them is falling apart. The presentation also appeals to me. The two dimensional visuals have an anime inspired fantasy style, while the soundtrack is being treated as an important part of the experience rather than just background noise. I especially like the contrast between the colorful character designs and the darker themes surrounding the apocalypse. There is also a good mixture of serious fantasy ideas and more playful humor, which should help keep the story from becoming overly gloomy. My biggest issue is that the current version is still very limited. The available version is a demo focused on the prologue, while the full Steam release is planned for September. That makes it difficult to judge the complete adventure because so much of the promised story and tower structure is not available yet. I also think the game will need strong pacing and variety between its different worlds to make such an ambitious concept really work. The language support is a nice touch, with both English and Spanish available for the game. I also appreciate that the developers are aiming for a story rich experience rather than simply using the fantasy setting as an excuse for repetitive combat. There is clearly a larger narrative planned, and I am interested in seeing whether the later episodes can live up to the dramatic setup established by the prologue. Overall, Agebringer looks like a charming and ambitious fantasy adventure with a surprisingly serious story underneath its colorful presentation. I really like the idea of the Crimson Core, the Infinity Tower and the young dragon joining a doomed crusade, and the soundtrack and visual style give the project plenty of personality. The limited prologue makes the experience feel more like a promising introduction than a complete game right now, but there is enough here to make me curious about the full adventure. Rating: 6.6/10
