About
Conqueror's Stage is a real-time 4X grand strategy game built on one idea: you should be able to finish a campaign in an evening, not a season. A full empire to build, real decisions to make, and a whole world to conquer, start to finish, in a single sitting.
Lead one of eight factions from scattered tribes to imperial power. Build your economy, research your path forward, shape your borders through diplomacy and war, and take the map. Every campaign is a complete story with an ending you actually reach.
No fixed maps. No scripted history. Every campaign begins on a fresh world with its own terrain, coastlines, mountains, rivers, and choke points. Some worlds are a single continent, others are many, divided by open sea with every shore within reach. Your rivals start where the world places them, and your borders are drawn by the land itself, not by a history book.
And when you want a world of your own, build it. Paint continents onto an open ocean, raise the terrain from coastal plains to mountain peaks, brush in forests, and place each faction and the land it holds. Save it as a template and replay it as often as you like.
No two campaigns ever feel the same.
This is grand strategy with the depth kept and the busywork cut. Found settlements and grow them into cities, knowing every settlement earns income and every soldier costs upkeep. Research technologies that shape your economy, your military, and your reach, where each path you open delays another. Command whole armies across the map as one, with no hex grids and no fixed paths. Forge alliances, declare wars, and negotiate peace as the balance of power shifts around you.
Expand too fast and your economy breaks. Expand too slowly and your rivals pull ahead. The whole game lives in that rhythm between growth, defense, diplomacy, and war, and every choice is one you feel.
Advance your civilization from primitive beginnings to imperial might:
The First Age. Scattered tribes, early settlements, and the first struggle for survival.
The Ancient Age. Organized armies, early military structure, and expanding territory.
The Medieval Age. Stronger settlements, disciplined forces, and territorial pressure.
The Renaissance Age. Better tactics, richer economies, and more complex rivalries.
The Imperial Age. Disciplined armies, military science, and the final push for domination.
Each age reshapes your campaign and opens new ways to build, fight, and expand.
Your rivals play to win. They gather their strength before they strike, defend real borders, keep their true numbers hidden behind the fog of war, and press every advantage they hold. Outnumbering an enemy still wins battles, but never for free. The map stays contested from the first settlement to the last city.
There is only one victory condition: control every city on the map. No point victories. No partial wins. No time limits. Your rivals will not surrender easily, and the question is never whether you will fight. It is whether you will be the last conqueror standing.
A Grand Strategy You Can Finish. The full depth of a 4X empire builder in a campaign you complete in one sitting, with no grind.
A New World Every Campaign. Freshly generated worlds, from a single continent to many, with real open sea.
Design Your Own World. Paint continents, shape terrain, place factions, and save reusable map templates.
Five Ages of Warfare. Guide your faction from primitive beginnings to imperial armies in one continuous campaign.
Build and Expand. Found settlements, grow cities, and balance income against upkeep with every move.
Meaningful Research. Technology choices that shape your economy, military, and reach, each trading against another.
Diplomacy with Consequences. Declare war, propose alliances, and negotiate peace as power shifts.
Fluid Army Command. Move and marshal whole armies freely, with no hex grids and no fixed paths.
A Rival Worth Beating. An AI that gathers its strength, defends real fronts, and fights to win.
Real-Time with Pause. Set the tempo from a slow crawl up to 8x, and pause whenever you need to think.
Eight-Faction Campaigns. Lead one faction against up to seven rivals on a contested world.
Total Conquest. Take every city and become the final power on the map.
For grand strategy lovers who want the depth without the time sink, and for anyone who ever bounced off a 4X game because it asked for a hundred hours before it got good. If you want to build an empire, make decisions that matter, and see a campaign through to its end in a single evening, this is your battlefield.
Single-player only. No online requirements. No gacha. Just you, the map, and the will to shape history.
Five Ages. One Conqueror.

A simple, though interesting game with surprising depth. Can't wait to see how it develops.
Great game I love it so much I just hope that they continue to update it! If they add multiplayer and more depth in the tech tree and some extra stuff like farms or something I think this game will blow up even more. I highly recommend this game its lots of fun its super easy to learn but the only thing I have an issue with is the tech tree and how it works because if one player gets a really good spawn or expands faster they just win. For example I was stuck in a war with another empire I had a lot of fun doing that but while I was doing that another empire was conquering the rest of the world so by the time I beat the empire I was fighting it was already over and unfortunately there was no coming back. Overall great game highly recommend to play it I hope they'll continue to update it in the future.

A really good game. The tutorial shows you everything relevant, then allows you to dive head first into the game. A better tutorial than most games. I also very much enjoy how you can adjust the speed of the game and even pause the game if you need some time to think of a strategy. I also found it interesting that if you capture a city you will also capture the surrounding towns. I also enjoy the game because it allows you to snowball in progress, From struggling to afford villages at the start to buying dozens of villages without a second thought later on. It also seems like the devs are open to criticism and respond to the community regularly. There seems to be big plans for this game and I will be waiting for future updates. Good price, good gameplay, good potential.
I can see a good within a rough first draft and hope to see it improved in the future. Given this seems to be the developers 1st game a lot can be forgiven but their are quite a few ways this could be improved. -The A.I needs to be better, period. as it is it's currently barely a challenge for a player even vaguely familiar with 4x games. - Technology needs to be more expensive earlier. - Anti-Snowball mechanics are direly needed if not improved again. - Map seeding could be more dynamic, currently I've only experienced two map typs, Pangea and dual continents and rarely have they been outside a fairly uniform distribuiton. If things improve, I'll ammend this to reflect changes and currently I do not want to discourage buyers HOWEVER if this remains unchanged the game will not be worth the money it stands as. BUT if it does change this is well worth the cheap as chips cost on the store.
fairly enjoyable, but would like easier way to expand borders.
Worth the 7 bucks. Neat idea. and for what's on offer not miffed at the price. While it is a positive experience the slog through the new arrival que slop was brutal to find this one. Got some visual issues when attempting to zoom and move your view at the same time where the tags for the units/cities shift around awkwardly. Minor stuff like that, but broadly it seems to be getting some love dev wise. 7.5/10 atm. Could get polished up a bit and be something worht talking about. Atm Proof of Concept. Faster paced stripped down civ sim. visually the little soldiers breaking down into formations and junk is fun. little animation battles. Got some charm.
