About
Confederate Express is a hardcore mouse-only clicker puzzle that leaves no room for mercy. Set in a grim dystopian future, you’re trying to deliver a mysterious package. Sounds simple, right? Wrong. In this game, making it past level 3 feels like a victory. The difficulty curve is less of a curve and more of a sheer cliff, with each of the 50 levels designed to break your spirit and test your very will to continue.
Mouse-Only Mayhem: Forget multiple inputs—this game is all about precision, as every action is driven by nothing more than your mouse. One wrong click? You're back to square one. Get used to the grind—it’s the only way forward.
Experimental, Brutal Gameplay: Confederate Express is a niche experiment in extreme difficulty. It’s not designed to be accessible or easy. It’s designed to test whether you’re tough enough to survive. Spoiler: Most aren’t.
In a decaying, dystopian world, you play as a merciless exterminator on a mission to deliver a mysterious package. The path is riddled with impossible scenarios, where each level throws you into a blood-soaked battle against vicious enemies who use deadly tactics. Every encounter is a test of skill and survival, and failure is inevitable—but each death only brings you closer to uncovering the dark secrets of the world you’re trying to navigate.
Confederate Express boasts an unmistakable visual style - "aliasing" - powered by a proprietary rendering framework - False2D™ API. This technology allows for an unparalleled visual fidelity, transforming a collection of over 50,000 hand drawn animation frames into a spectacular flurry of visual feast.
Confederate Express is a hardcore, niche experience built for those who crave an insane challenge. It’s visceral, punishing, and relentless experience, pushing your patience, reflexes, and even your sanity to the limit.

I am backer of this kickstarter games. This won't the same game i played during 1st demo. Even after final Demo that i played, this game felt so different and it is much harder to play and to harder to understand. Lack of tutorials a very lazy developer and lack of hints or tip. Also no save game data. So you have start the game again from beginning whenever you quit. Also no difficulty settings such as the game is already on Hard level. I already have pass up to Scene 11 then i gave up because it got boring. No Story, No Cutscene. For $39,000 that much he the developer took! Very lazy game made by lazy Developer. Good luck to anyone who can get pass Scene 2 which freaking hard at the early stage of the game. And NO! I do NOT recommend this game! Do Not buy it at all even if it was free. Let this game to be forgotten and let it fades. Worse Game Ever! Other Reviewers and Backers are right in their Reviews.

I can't say I was surprised by this bowel movement of a game. It is nowhere near what the developer originally pitched, and it plays like a clunky android demo off Google Play's multitude of copyright infringed games. There's just nothing, not a single redeeming feature or game design decision (and I'm using the term generously) that would make this game worth considering at a -90% discount on any store. One might say I'm jaded due to being one of the many who got duped into backing this on KS many, many years ago, but really, one only needs to look at the overwhelming negative reviews. Bullet points from the few minutes I wasted on this game: - Point and click gameplay brought to an all time low. Basically, you use mouse left to 'attack move' and mouse right to 'move'. Your character automatically engages hostiles within five feet of them, despite seeing them clearly further off. - No story structure. Basically, you're tossed into a city and must navigate each scene with big flashing 90's "GO!" orders at the end of each scene after you butcher everybody. - Menus are practically gibberish with icons way too small to see serving as a makeshift options menu. Exit option is located on the top right. If you've bought this, you'll find yourself looking for this particular menu real quick. - Thankfully, you should be able to get a Steam refund on this 'game' after coming to realize what a waste of time and money it has been if you've opted to find that exit menu after the first few scenes. Don't delay, get a refund NOW.
Former Kickstarter Backer - nice pixel art - very simplistic shallow gamplay - most of the features that were originally advertised in the original kickstarter campaign are missing - google this developer + condo Avoid.
Complete and utter garbage. Got this through scam kickstarter. Do not waste your time and/or money
Thanks, but no thanks. Screw Kickstarter promises, but even Kickstarter tech demo had better controls and more depth.
This "game" is utter garbage. Don't encourage scammers by paying for this. Kickstarter discussion will give you an idea what all these reviews are about.
This is not the game we were promised. Five years ago we backed a tactical RPG. This game is, at best, a $0.99 clicker on the iTunes store. There's no depth, no RPG elements and the gameplay is woefully simple. Do. Not. Buy. This. Game. Unless you want to be ripped off. Then, by all means, go for it.
It's hardly a game. Most of Flash "1 day in development" projects have more gameplay and variaty. STAY AWAY!!! Sadly i've backed this NON-game at kick started and can't request a refund
I kickstarted the game a looong time ago and I did not really expect it to be actually released some day. Well, judging by its current state, maybe it shouldn't have. No story, no depth, no explanation whatsoever, the game itself is just a succession of scenes populated with zombies and guys shooting at you. Most of the gameplay consists in clicking around to move while the character randomly shoots things in front of him until the next area is available. Avoiding enemy shots is also a painful experience due to the clunky and unresponsive control system, so you die and restart scenes a lot. I am not sure what is the point of releasing this game (especially for this price tag), it is nothing like what was originally planned and it is just plain unenjoyable. There is nothing to save here, apart from the beautiful pixel art.
