Concursion is a multi-genre game played on the boundaries between worlds. Steer your hero through a dangerous interdimensional universe, switching between different genres on the fly, pulling off feats of tight aerial acrobatics otherwise unattainable in one genre alone.

This game is the definition of a hidden gem. From now on, every time I hear that term, I'll think about this game. The real star of the show in this game is the level design; it's really masterfully done, exploring almost all things possible with the initial gameplay concept. Concursion has been in my Steam library for years. If I knew it was this good, I would have played it ages ago. Overall, after completing the entire game, I can say that I really enjoyed it. The downsides are that the visual presentation can feel a little lacking and some gameplay aspects may seem a little counterintuitive until you get the hang of them. However, I would still highly recommend this game.
This is the only game I have deleted from my full account. So bad.
You are a knight who dies in two hits. The kingdom has been attacked, yadda yadda. Reality is torn asunder and there are alternate universes in the form of rifts all over. The rifts grand you special powers depending on what dimension it is. You get to play as one of five characters whose powers I will summarize in the names I made up. Normalguy Runandjump Hugehitbox Gradius Swordy Doublejump Jetpack Forgothowtowalk Pacman Worsethanpacman You guide these characters through largely boring levels, forget what rift is coming and then probably die. Oh, and the autoscrollers. If there's something I enjoy the most, it's having to redo tediously long and boring autoscrollers when I die to something much later because the checkpoints are not placed well. The game has an interesting concept, but I can't get behind this. The execution is just terrible. I only played the first two worlds, but it felt like half the levels were autoscroll. It's better than I was expecting, but my expectations weren't that high. Going to quit while I'm ahead.
Has some interesting ideas but the execution is very poor
This game doesn't do it for me, feels like it belongs on miniclip rather than steam
Do you like a game that's a bunch of bad versions of better games, but all at once? Me neither!
