Command: Modern Operations is the next generation in cross-domain modern wargaming. It enables you to simulate every military engagement from post World War II to the present day and beyond. The scale is primarily tactical/operational, although strategic scale operations are also possible.

Far too addicting, runs quite well, and if you know general military stuff you'll get the hang of things. It's complicated but super fun.
Extremely complex and dialed in when it comes to war simulation. Hard learning curve but very fun once you get it.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Je recommande ce jeu, il est très complet et très prenant. Cependant je ne le recommande qu'à des personnes passionnée de ce genre de sujet et capable de passer bien 50 - 60h de tutoriel.
I have had my eye on this game (or some variation of) for several years...I am am original Harpoon/admirals version/Harpoon2, plus the board game from many years ago. Quite a few years went by with, I thought, a suitable replacement. Just my opinion. So I purchased CMO and several of the DLC's/Scenarios and gave it a try. I have got some studying (translation - gaming/playing) to do to catch up and get comfortable. So far I am very, very impressed. I am a former Navy Nuke and somewhat of a science/math nerd, so this is right in my wheelhouse. Keep up the great work and Thank You.
Highly recommended if you are even the remotest interested in modern naval and aviation weapons and systems.
For all you Command and Control nerds out there like me, this game is it. Though severely lacking on the infantry side and some learning curves, once you get the hang of it, you won't find any other combined arms sandbox better than this.
I wish I had more time to play this game. It is the single most indepth and strategically challenging game I have ever played.
This game is easily one of the most detailed and rewarding military strategy games I’ve ever played. The level of realism is incredible just starting from radar systems and sensor mechanics to aircraft, ships, ground units and their weaponry. What I like the most is the level of planning involved. Principle of setting up patrols, managing detection and coordinating strikes. Then when you reach the point of your plan working perfectly with either zero or minimal casualties, you really feel satisfied. It definitely has a learning curve, really, really, long learning curve than other strategy/war games, but if you ask me, it’s worth getting into. I believe I personally know just maybe 5% of the ingame mechanics, literally. You can play gazillion of community made scenarios which are often very great, or you can spend your groschen on not so cheap DLCs that are filled with great content but yeah, the price tag. I strongly suggest for people to get into editor and create their own scenarios, for me this was great way to learn some more complex mechanics. If you’re interested in modern military strategy and don’t mind taking the time to learn the systems, CMO is for you. 10/10.
