TLDR; check back on this in a year. Clearly has more development and testing to go through. At time of review the free version is stuttery, assumes you have Oculus Quest controllers, has broken controls (because of previous reason) and most importantly to an artist does not allow you to try any painting tools. What brushes does it have? Does it support your own 3D stencils? What does the workflow process look like? Can you work on different layers like in 2D art? What export formats does it support? Overall i'm not impressed.
Beautiful painting program with all of the bells and whistles. The developers did a great job putting together features that we love! Very powerful program. Well done!

Жена сказала если на этом обзоре будет 50 лайков и 5 наград , она купит ящик пива, мужики выручайте! My wife said if this review gets 50 likes and 5 awards, she will buy a case of beer, guys help me out
Incredible creative VR software. Very intuitive to use. Though It seems the design of UI's not quite complete. Would be great to be able to import and place audio files within the scene.

This was a waste of my time. For starters, this is a free demo version. which isn't explicitly mentioned, anywhere I could find. You cant do anything unless you buy it. You can look at preexisting builds, and edit them. but i didn't even get to edit anything. there was no tutorial on how to work the complex looking layout, and my 16 gb ram, and NVIDIA GTX Super struggled to load the "Simple" particle build, while i had the weird, untogglable, camera on. i had to hold my hands still, and point them at the left hand menu, to not get motion sickness from my headset jittering. Would not reccommend, until this is more optimized, and improved.
After playing this and now using for creating some small scenes, I am absolutely thrilled by this software! The movement is so smooth! I can create scenes easily and get right inside of them, changing lighting and world elements. I am only 4 hours in, and this is now my go to! I will be creating some models to import in and try creating custom brushes, but for right now I have what I need. Also need to use video and see how that works out as well as painting with youtube. This is a Joy to use! :))))))
Paint and sculpt scenes,worlds...your imagination. All the tools you need to make pretty much anything. Lots of options. Well laid out program makes it easy to use, experiment and explore. One thing I will recommend though is you have considerably more computing power than stated in the requirements on the store page. Painting and sculpting is smooth and easy but once you turn the cameras on and start moving the gimbal things get a little more heaviy in the processing dept. You can turn the resolution down when filming and back to high when rendering but still I would recommend at least Intel Core i7-9700 - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 or better Well priced. You do get a lot for your money. Dev team is involved and helpful. :)
Colory Engine is a free trial part of Colory VR Painter that you have to buy through DLC in the steam store. It worked on my HTC Vive, looked ok, played ok, sounded? You can only Open projects to look at them, so it is a free Viewer. To do anything else you expect to do, you have to buy the DLC at 25 dollar. Has steam workshop. The devs are making a desktop video editor for virtual productions that i guess will be paid DLC. No, don't bother to download this program, it is Not Free and nothing useful to do here.
This newly released PC VR art app is going to be great! Especially for advanced users who hit the limitations of other similar apps - there is a lot of possibility for adjusting the settings and expanding with user created brushes, render styles, animation, etc. This was my second draw, and you can see my trying out various features here.
