About

Color Factory is a factory-building game that combines strategy and management with automation. Extract primary colors, blend them to create new shades, and craft canvases to complete tasks. Use nodes to automate processes such as mixing, resizing, and transporting. Scale and optimize your production to tackle increasingly complex challenges, and master automation to build an efficient art factory.

Start with primary colors, mix them to secondary and tertiary colors to create your shade. Store and use colors to complete tasks. Plan your setups carefully to overcome increasingly difficult challenges.

Use nodes to transform colors into canvas pieces and manipulate them with specialized nodes to automate your workflow. Rotate, store, modify, and transport your materials to keep production seamless and efficient.

Create your own path to automation. Use belts to build long routes, tunnels to bypass obstacles, splitters to distribute materials efficiently, or mergers to combine multiple lines into one. Every setup is your own, letting you create a unique experience.

No costs for roads or, no enemies, and no hostile action, just the pure joy of automation. Experiment freely, redesign your factory without any penalties. Build, break, and rebuild as much as you need. Create the perfect automation system that satisfies you.

Its easy to get confused between colors if your not paying attention (and god forbid you're color blind) and the board doesn't clear (nor have I found a button that does so) between levels in a given section which can get annoying when you need to completely switch up the blocks your making. There also seems to be a bug with the menu where it doesn't visually appear changed and the road style section doesn't change at all. The color palette menu seems to flicker when you move around with it open? Little odd but not a big deal. Despite these downfalls, its a good time waster and worth the price for this unique little game. Its easy to lose track of time and has me wanting to return to complete the levels to see what kind of factories I have to come up with. One thing I'd like to recommend is having steam achievements for completing levels. I like being able to tell at a glance what games I have completed or not.
Reminds me too much of Shapez, to be honest. Wish it had more unique mechanics besides color mixing.
I like the idea of the game, but it's buggy. An hour in and giving up, roads keep disconnecting, machines stop working for no obvious reason, canvas parts delivered aren't counting... Too buggy to play.
Updating: After uninstalling and reinstalling, it's slightly more playable than before, but still too buggy to fully recommend until it's more ironed out
It's definitely a relaxing factory building game. I normally don't play many factory games since I'm bad at balancing inputs and outputs but this one is a lot more manageable for my brain.
