I usually stay away from horror or horror themed games. I am even terrified of non horror games, where the game stresses me out. I loved colony for two reasons. One, the duration of the game. It was short and sweet. Took around 2 hours of my playtime. Please note that this game has permadeath. Meaning, if you die, you will restart from the beginning. I died half way through and then re-played. Two, the scary and horror parts were not over used. While the environmental horror and fear is always present in the game. The actual encounters with the scary elements are limited. And well used. So, when it happens, it is impactful. I am the kind of person, who ramps up the brightness in all games. As i am comfortable when i am able to see everything. COLONY challenged me. As the whole game is super dark and encourages me to search for and flip the lights on whenever i enter a room. I am wishing all the best to the dev and production team. I am looking forward to see more games, across different genres from them. Wishing them all the best and much success.

If you enjoy granny style games, you must try this one. At this price, the game is worth it, though finding hints can be challenging. An option to increase brightness and voice cues to help find hints would be really helpful additions. To the Team: Since this is your first game, you've likely learned a lot about how users react and the importance of game design. This is completely normal in game development. I recommend spending more time on game design and testing, as this will undoubtedly improve the game. While increasing development time might affect the budget, careful planning can help mitigate this. This is just the first step in your journey. I hope to see more games like this from you in the future! love you guys to making games in tamil.

I thought this would be a horror game but it's mostly a puzzle / escape room game. And a not that good one. The game is extremly dark, without the flashlight and batteries you are lost. It is very possible to be out of batteries figuring out the puzzle solutions which basically means you have to start over. Also there is a giant maze section with an enemy chasing you inside it. If she kills you, you have to start the whole game again. Which wasn't really an issue for me, as she does not insta kill and she is quite slow.

I love this game ...its too hard for me because iam not a good gamer..but i love this game ..iam going to play again ...i really recommend this game for other..puzzles are really good ...its hard to crack a puzzles.
