[/th]

A short-term sci-fi Colony Building Resource Management puzzle game
It's a causal game where you build machines on a grid-based 2.5D map, to harvest resources, and refine them into things like food, water or fuel. Which you'll need to birth colonists or launch rockets. Meanwhile, you'll have to manage pollution levels or even fight alien infestations, threatening to block off your precious building slots! Everything is in real-time, so that you gotta stay on top of your management game!
Gameplay:
In the first seconds of the game, the game resembles rapid chess for a while, where you need to have time to place pieces (12 different machines to choose from) on a tile-based map. The first level is completed in just a couple of minutes. Further, the levels gradually become more difficult and the time to complete them increases. This is not so much a story about the construction of a colony, but a puzzle in which you need to arrange the details of the colony so as to balance the production and consumption of game resources and complete the game task for this planet. The requirements are slowly getting more complicated. There is no sandbox game. (But you can create a mission and a map with the desired parameters in the map editor). Nice visual style. Intuitive gameplay. Music and sound effects are relaxed and, if desired, it is possible to disable it. Or download the soundtrack from the developer's website . The game is hard to get into, but once you get it, it can be pretty complex and challenging!
Game options:
[olist][*] Company. They are 16 levels in the campaign, after the first 3, it will transition you to a new system with more planets. [*] Challenges. At the moment there are 6 challenges, but most likely more will be added. [*] Map editor. Create your own maps and challenges with whatever parameters you want. [/olist] There is a tutorial in the game. Quite a lot of text. If you suddenly do not know English well, it will be more difficult for you. But after repeating the tutorial several times, you can still understand everything intuitively. The game has achievements. Also, there are a couple of achievements that act as challenges, where you have to create your own map with certain conditions. These can be quite hard and fun, so you can try them out too! The developer continues to work on the game, so there are likely to be many more improvements and additions. The author of the game plans to continue adding content for free. You can visit the site of the author of the game where it is possible to get some gifts (such as a soundtrack, map and a skin), as well as find out news about this and subsequent games of the developer.
Advice:
[olist][*] You can hold the 'ALT' key to check names. [*] Hold right click to skip the ai-mimi banter if you so wish. [*] There's a hammer in the bottom right corner, you can use it to demolish buildings. But, as an added challenge, it costs 100 'Inda' to use each time. [*] You can actually access your maps through: Appdata/LocalLow/CookieLegends/Colonials Programme/Saves [*] The author of the game is ready to answer all your questions on the Steam forum and the game website. And he also promises to take into account the wishes of the players for further updates to the game. So feel free to communicate, questions and wishes. [/olist]
Conclusions:
The game may appeal to those who like puzzles and short timed games. Also, I can recommend the game to children, to start learning about sky-fi topics with robots and AI, as well as the basics of colonizing planets. Especially children can enjoy the cartoon style of play with cute main characters in the face of robots and AI, who chat a lot before the start of each level. There is no violence and shooting in the game. For experienced base building players and serious strategy lovers, this game may seem too simple at first and where there is nothing new for them. However, the last levels of the game can be difficult puzzles even for them. The map editor is a definite plus for replayability. For those who understand a lot about such games, a worthy purchase. And the developer has many plans for the further development of the project. It is hoped that the game will get even better over time. A colony management simulation where you are preparing planets for human colonization. Build the necessary structures and gather resource. Then manage the planet and continue to progress, eventually gaining colonist and venturing on. A causal game that takes planning, and has a lot of indie charm. Here is the first 40 minutes of game play. https://youtu.be/MDujfx4yX2Q

[th]If you enjoyed my review join our steam group. Very interesting game. It is a combination of colony building, factory management and space management. I made a 60 second video explaining it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPnqFRzpHK8
The game plays more like a puzzle game than a simulation game, which might be what it looks like but there is still definitely a sim "feel" to it. I've just completed the first three basic levels and I feel like I've gotten the hang of the game somewhat but the tutorial could be better, so if you're not used to this kind of game then maybe skip this one (could be hard to understand what's happening, not everything is cleary telegraphed). But otherwise the game is pretty fun, there is a cute story with good writing, I chuckled a couple of times. And I have a feeling that the game itself has a lot of depth to it that I'll probably get to later. If you're into city builders and puzzle-sims then definitely buy this one, and if you're on the fence about the game then maybe wait for a sale.
After a few hours of play, I have to say this game is fun and surprisingly addicting. It also brings back nostalgia of games from the early to mid 90s with the simple look and the music and sound.
love the game...very well made
I played for a bit and will continue playing more. It's a small puzzle game with a grid-based system for generating power and resources. It is fun.
On the first maps, you think: Is this all? But it's actually a well balanced and challanging game with fair losses, where you know you screwed up and deathlocked yourself. Campaign is 4-5h. There is also challanges and custom games. Achievements could keep you busy for hours more and there is even a map editor.
