On Christmas Eve, Officer Frederick Hartwell believes he's on a routine call-out to settle a domestic dispute but gets more than he bargained for when he finds that the house is empty, it's unnaturally cold and something seems to be lurking in the darkness.

I wanted to like this game so bad. Cold Call is unique, scary, and creative. But for some reason; this game kept rubbing me wrong way. It was the little things. I felt like I never knew what the heck I was supposed to do. Which inevitability led to me not having fun. And I could not beat the boss battle. It was buggy and very frustrating. I never even figured out the mechanics. And I tried this over 50 times. Maybe I'm just bad. I don't know. If it wasn't for the buggy boss; I would probably recommend this game. But because of it.... I can't recommend this game.
I was excited to play this game at first, I like Christmas horror games, it was fun and pretty spooky when I started but it completely fell apart at the end. Maybe I'm just bad at flamethrower management, but that part was awful to sit through..running through almost half of my fuel on the first encounter because the snowman stayed in the room for so dang long and then after the second encounter, having practically nothing and losing again, and again, and again. What should've arguably been the best part of the game ended up slipping and falling off a cliff. TL;DR, played for an hour, some cool & spooky moments, few parts with no hints of what to do, and a (sadly) sucky final boss that killed my interest.

Неплохой проект за такую-то цену, но концовка довольно странная, если честно.
10-4, heading there now.
it's dumb fun, you get what you pay for pretty much. it's a short lived story (unless you get stuck like I did multiple times) and not exactly a very complex one at that but hey I was engaged the whole time!
