Reviews
(I had to write a short review for a lecture .. so I will just put it here ... parts) [...] In this game, players take control of a robot by issuing commands to navigate it through each level. The primary objective in each level is to program a path leading to the goal, accomplished by utilizing a variety of coding blocks. However, there's a challenge – players must stay within a specified upper limit, encouraging them to find efficient solutions. The game provides instant feedback, making it easy for players to understand and learn from their actions. Coding Robo serves as an educational tool, teaching players to use common commands such as If conditions and while loops. Additional blocks, including Interact, jump, move, and turn, enhance the range of commands players can employ. By engaging with the game, players develop a fundamental understanding of programming sequences (basic programs), ultimately gaining insight into algorithmic thinking and logical reasoning. While I personally found the game conceptually interesting during my one-hour playtime, it didn't pose a significant challenge for me. Nevertheless, the game's appeal lies in its unique concept and design. Notably, the inclusion of a built-in level editor supporting custom maps adds a layer of replayability, promising a continual influx of new levels and keeping the gaming experience fresh for players

Buggy. Not recommended even not in sale
This is a pleasant puzzle game. It doesn't teach much about programming. Sequence of steps, loops and simple conditional if statements. That doesn't take you far. Nothing about data structures, boolean logic or even simple variables or functions. You don't write algorithms so much as step-by-step recipes. The gap between this and something like The Farmer Was Replaced is huge. But the puzzles are modestly entertaining, and I also had fun creating my own. The game is worth the price, especially if you're using it to introduce someone to the most basic of programming principles.
I don't suggest this game for adults, but I do think it has a solid foundation Pros: Solid game play Well explained mechanics Pleasant atmosphere and sound Cons: Not Enough Levels Does not feel like it is actually teaching coding Robot is very slow, takes a 5-10 second pause between each action. This is my biggest issue with this game, feels like my time is being wasted. (need a fast forward function)
I have completed the first 20 levels and so far it's been quite easy. Cool game to chill out a little bit. Not too hard
