About
Coaster Crash Course is a roller coaster building puzzle game. In a series of different levels you are challenged to build the optimal roller coaster taking the terrain and a set of collectibles into account. Be wary of physics, though: Too high speeds combined with too tight curves or slopes and your coaster will turn into a rocket.

The building tool is incredibly simple and intuitive and designed in a way that allows you to build your own coasters within seconds. No complicated UI, no steep learning curve, doesn't feel like work.

Build your way through various kinds of challenges spread out over different colorful environments. Along your journey new mechanics and obstacles are introduced which will require increasingly creative roller coaster designs.

Items like the speed orb will push your coaster to the absolute limits of physics. Can your track handle the high speed or will your train launch into the sky?

In a sea of roller coaster simulations, this game provides a fresh and original experience and dares to explore new frontiers. Relax and take a step into this weird and wonderful world of roller coasters!

A very pleasant suprise! I hate splines though... There are a number of bugs, but I hope we'll get some more patches.
As a rollercoaster enthusiast, this game satisfies me, to try to make the smoothest ride is an extra, perfect challenge built on top of the amazing, hooking challenges built into this game. I watched this game being made for the Game Jam and now im getting to play a refined version that is just perfect. One problem for me was the lag when not in exclusive fullscreen. As soon as i switched to it however i got 500+ fps
I bought this thinking I would be a brilliant engineer. I thought I would build majestic, smooth rides that bring joy to the masses. My first coaster cart hit the first corner at Mach 3. The cart ignored the concept of turning and just kept going straight, launching the passengers into the stratosphere with the grace of a majestic eagle. They are currently orbiting the map. I think one of them waved at me. 10/10 Space Program. Would yeet peeps into the sun again.
Awesome little game to calm down while tinkering around on your own lethal hell-ride! The combination of super easy building mechanics and the weight of your decisions is cozy and challenging at the same time. Love it!
通过非常完善的物理力学模拟达成了非常丝滑的解谜体验,还提供了非常有乐子的看小人飞出去+第一人称享受过山车环节,小而美!
Great game and surprisingly addictive to optimize rides for medals. Don't overlook that you can tilt the coaster path with ctrl + scroll.
i love it. if you're into rollercoasters and/or bridge builder games this is for you!
Really enjoyed it, its really very intuitive and there is some creative level design. Also really liked the people flying off during coaster riding. I think there should be trophies for that aswell, or atleast some stats :D. Furthermore there should be a leaderboard similar to trackmania, where you can see the best times of all players. I hope the creative mode releases soon, maybe also with community made levels?
It's a neat game. It could use polish, but for the price point, it's worth it. For those who care about creative mode, it isn't yet out at the time of this review. Just a few things I'd like to note: You cannot zoom in and out. There isn't a key-bind for reverting changes. (You can revert changes; there just isn't a key-bind.) If the action cam is on when you finish a level, it remains on in the next level. It's minor, but it’s a thing... The graphics settings are quite primitive. There is no way to change the FPS, which, to be fair, isn't too bad in a game like this. Oddly, with resolution currently, there are two options that say the same thing, for each resolution and Hz.
Game seems fun but I think there is a lot of potential for way more, I am very surprised there is no concept of style points for doing cool things. Otherwise the levels feel a bit repetitive and simple. the fun is mostly from creating cool rollercoasters in a game like this, I think doing so should be rewarded in the game.
