Updated Review on 12/03/2023 to reflect the 1.2 patch which actually reverted some of the positive changes, and fixed nothing. I don't recommend getting this game at this time. The game concept is solid, but the execution still has problems. Some critical issues with the game hamper the fun currently, which I will list below. 1. --Un-Fixed-- Developer re-introduced magical health regeneration to the game, so "ALL" challenge is now gone again. You can beat some of the easier maps with nothing but a crowbar now. Don't even need a gun. Health fully recovers at an insane speed, so medkits may as well be removed from the game, or changed into gold bars to sold in the shop, as thats all they are good for now. 1.2 actually made the game worse. 2. Static enemy spawns. Enemies will always spawn from the exact same spot every time, meaning once you have done a stage, you know where everything will be. The game does semi-randomize where switches and some keys are (one of three pre-determined spots) but makes zero effort to do so with monsters which damages the game's replayability. 3. Enemies will often hit you even after they have been dead for a second or two. Either from long-winded attack animations, or just coding jank. This is currently the biggest issue with the game, as the recent difficulty increase has made this bug single handedly determine if you live or die in a match. 4. (Fixed) Resources are now actually scarcer. And you may actually need to buy and bring some with you on higher difficulties. 5. (Fixed) Game actually has a proper server browser now. Though the playerbase is still VERY small. 6. (Partially Fixed) The recent patch added new missions. And with the new resource scarcity and higher difficulty, the game actually has a decent play length now. (Maybe 8-10 hours or so from scratch to done all missions. Hard to tell.) 7. EXTREMELY limited weapon/item selection. A 9mm pistol of a few flavors, a 44 magnum, a M16 and an AK. Flares were updated in 1.1 to apply a very minor stun, perhaps useful in multiplayer, but useless when playing solo. Axe and crowbar you have automatically and they both do the exact same thing with different damage and swing speeds. Medkits are now actually valuable and useful in 1.1, And... Thats it. (1.1 patch added a stun grenade, but this continues to be a limited selection of gear.) 8. No levels/unlock/progress/ranks/etc. Grinding cash for gear/items is the only progression, and that doesn't take long at all. 9. Very annoying item hunts. The game uses these boring item hunts for switches/keys. VERY annoying to find them the first time and the demo actually failed to spawn one in. The full game does appear to always spawn them in thankfully. But basically it's a super annoying thing to do the first time, after you learn where the 3 spots they can spawn are however, it's just a minor annoyance for any repeated runs. 10. Difficulty setting. Amusingly the game has a difficulty setting slider, but there is no reason to make it harder, the rewards are the same. In fact that slider should not exist as it's the stage difficulty that should be determining how hard the game is. 11. Multiplayer scaling is broken. There isn't enough ammo or resources for more than one player, enemies also take 4x the damage to kill, so everyone runs out of ammo very VERY quickly. Then you all end up just trying to melee everything before it wipes the team out. 12. Character upgrade system is basically worthless, very little is affected by it. Also since it's all reset on a mission failure, and currently the game FORCES a mission failure after every match due to the deletion of your blacklight requiring you to fail a mission to get it back... It may as well not exist. That roughly covers it all. The recent 1.1 patch improved a lot of the gameplay issues, but there is still a lot to do. I was tempted to change this to a recommended review, but I feel it is "still" not quite there yet. But if the 1.2 patch makes improvements on the scale the 1.1 did, I suspect this will become a positive review in the future. Update: 1.2 made the game worse, not better, so this is staying a negative review likely indefinitely.
buyer beware. at it's current state, the game is basically a tech demo. or at best a proof of concept. bugs make it virtually unplayable, and some basic elements are not implemented. it may be a game after sufficient developement, but in it's impossible to say based on even what is there, if it would be worth it then,
Juego bastante divertido, sobre todo con amigos. Por momentos se bajan los FPS, sin embargo, no afecta mucho al gameplay como tal. Buen soundtrack para jugar, buenos sustos, bien balanceado.
Developer screams in your ears
DO NOT BUY i made the mistake of buying this when it was early access and enjoyed it upon release however this game was abandoned very soon after and i was no longer able to get a refund, they have removed the early access tag but dont be fooled they are NOT updating this anymore, its a dead broken game with little to almost no content DO NOT BUY
This game is actually super fun and sometimes difficult. Its a game that is best played with teammates and I definitely suggest that, because the game is more enjoyable that way. The Dev's are very good at responding to bug reports and continually adding new content. If you don't have this game and enjoy multiplayer shooter you should get this now, before the price raises when they add even more content because the game is going to grow into something very fun and Unique.
I wanted to like this since it sounded like a good time. Currently, I don't find this game to be fun at all. 1. The game wants you to explore, but you move as fast as a grandmother with 2 broken legs. I understand there's a reason to prevent constant sprinting in this kind of game, but the movement speed is a huge hindrance when you need to search for switches (which is every level), and you realize you probably missed something at a previous location and you have to backtrack. 2. The movement speed also prevents anything interesting from happening during shooting. All you can do is back up while shooting and hope you have enough ammo or your health holds out long enough to trade blows while using melee. There's no dodging, blocking, jumping, ducking, using terrain or doors to stop monsters. 3. Following on #2, the shooting is boring. There's nothing here to consider or strategize. You just back up, shoot, and hope your ammo holds out. 4. Game advertises puzzles. There are zero puzzles in this game, unless you count a puzzle as looking for a switch somewhere on a wall, and looking for a code somewhere that you then type directly into a number pad. I was excited about solving puzzles with a group of friends, but it is simply not present currently. 5. The sound design is utterly inexplicable. Sounds come from everywhere at once most of the time even though the monster is right in front of you. You can hear teammates click on and off their flashlight from literally anywhere in the entire level, leading to hearing *click click click click*. Other sounds that should be loud are barely audible, such as your guns shooting. 6. Some pretty heinous bugs are present, like not being able to use items that someone places in the ankle deep water in one section. Using a flare tanked the frame rate for everyone in the squad.
Scam abandonware.

QUALIFIED For people who are looking for a decently paced game this is very off balance. I want to like it but the creators need to make it better inventory filled and paced for casual gamers as well or they are cutting themselves out of a piece of the pie. I consider myself a medium level gamer but this game is unusually frustrating and debilitating early on and even though I decided to give it a second chance I'm going to give up again. PERHAPS I will check it out again soon. But first and second impressions... NOT good unless they make it more friendly to starting out players.
