Reviews
I just finished my first play through, obviously haven't figured out the murderer yet but have discovered some secrets of the family. It's cute and interesting, but also a bit slow and tedious, especially the slow walking speed. i'd really recommend having faster walking speed since a lot of the puzzles need you to take item A to location B and the mansion is HUGEEE with 2 floors. So when you figure out one thing, you need to walk a longgg way to grab the item then go to specific person, then sometimes it doesn't work and it's so tiring. Since it's a new game, and I kinda enjoyed it, I'll put positive review for now. But ideally it can fix all the issues so the gameplay is easier. Might change review to negative or post feedback in discord server to hope for some improvements. I changed the recommendation to negative since it takes so long to walk around, I don't even want to start a new run. :( My first play through took me 5.5 hours, and I'll post my playthrough video later so feel free to check it out! Thanks! Here's some of my suggestions: 0. there's some issues with who is speaking. You can see quite often that it's supposed to be the suspect talking, but the check-mark is on the detective instead. Also the dialogue often cuts out suddenly, and the order is messed up. I didn't ask the question about what they're doing yet, but they started talking about it, and later I started asking them the original question. So it's a bit confusing. 1. faster walking speed 2. room names or some simple room design added to the map so we can remember which room it is. 3. In the notes, theres hundreds of conversations, you can change the note color, but ideally, I'd love it to be able to filter by tag color and by each character. Eg. I can pick Rose, and see all the clues related to her. 4. Sometimes I need to find someone, and I could not find them no matter where I go. Would be nice to see people's locations 5. Sometimes they ask for items, but later when I finally get to it, the guy disappeared, and I can no longer complete the task. Is it based on time? I'm kind of confused about that.
Clue: Murder By Death mi ha davvero delusa. Delusa.
ENGLISH
This game could have been a masterpiece. After 40 hours and several playthroughs, the game is riddled with bugs that make it endless and unenjoyable. The dialogue in both the English and Spanish versions is jumbled. What should be a key event to resolve the plot is bugged, and so are its consequences. Dialogues that should occur with certain characters to continue the investigation don't appear... because they're poorly scripted due to timing issues or incorrect order. Sometimes, leaving an item on the ground causes it to disappear, leaving you without it and blocking any potential progress... It could have been a great game.
If you see this, please fix this bug: I played this on macos and the strongbox in Anderson's bedroom says four-digits instead of eight, I already questioned Mrs.Brighton about the date and went upstairs for the wedding album and got the exact date, but I still cannot open the strongbox. I've already played for more than twenty hours and still cannot complete the game because there are too many bugs need to fix,
Why is this game so difficult to understand? I CANT
