About
Ragnarok shattered the world. Rise as a Runari to rebuild it. Master chaotic physics-based combat inspired by Zelda and Devil May Cry. Explore islands and dungeons, smash monsters, loot and craft powerful gear, and grow your home in the sky. Play solo or online co-op with up to 4 players.

Unleash mayhem in a reactive, breakable world. Chain abilities into brutal team combos. Smash pillars onto monsters, lasso enemies into tornadoes, send enemies flying across the map, fire Greebles out of cannons, or kick exploding barrels into the fray.

Join up to three friends in online co-op. Share every weapon and ability you unlock as you grow stronger together and discover new playable Runari. Turn on Unbridled Chaos to lasso your friends in combat, because they deserve it.

Build your workshop on Odin Shell, the ancient turtle who has summoned you to restore the world. With visual crafting, you'll never have to wait for a friend stuck in a menu. Forge tons of weapons, gear, and powerful abilities to use in battle or sell them to fund your journey.

Link the Bifrost gates to unlock new islands and handcrafted dungeons that rearrange every visit, including that one room you swore you cleared already. Solve puzzles, fight challenging enemies, and grab valuable loot as you travel from the icy peaks of Frostvaldr to the deserts of Dustlanger to find the gods.

Turn a tiny stall into the most famous shop in the skies. Stock shelves, fill orders, charm customers, and watch your reputation spread as the best (and only) store in the skies.

Blins keep your shop running and Gnasher devours anything you find (and vomits up treasure in return, a fair trade). Chaos is great for business.
Very important feature.

Highly recommend this game! 85 hours in and I'm still having a blast playing it. You can get out of the map pretty easily, but I'm all for that. My only real complaint, is the housing. I really enjoy base building, and not being able to do that is a bit disappointing. At 4/4 upgrades the house still feels unfinished to me. Maybe I'm just being picky, but there are too many open doorways and walls. Exploration is done perfectly. Unlike some other games, I actually want to explore the entire map. The combat is great and the traversal of the maps with jumps/attacks is superb. Looking forward to future updates! P.S. If you put your shop at the edge of Odin Shell you can kick NPCs into the abyss! :D
I have no idea why people give this a negative review. Its like a fresh dopamine hit when you just want to ping around and smack some weird looking things. Its not massively difficult, but theres tons to do, loads to explore, lots of 'tick a box' things to do and generally its a fun game. Which is what we want right? Enjoying it massively.
After about 16hrs played, the first zone is now 100% completed, been playing this game with a few friends, and it's a LOT of fun the combat feels good, the aesthetics are nice and timeless which is important, meaning this game can still get updates in the future and still not need to worry about feeling outdated, looking forward to completing more of the game. Con: When playing with friends if the host is over seas from you, the rubberbanding is definitely very much there, which kind of sucks.
I decided to give Cloudheim a try after mulling over it. Played the demo for 2 hours, then snagged it. I'm not huge into EA games, but the PS2 vibes got me pretty hard. It's a fun beat 'em up. Less thinking, more bonking! There seems to be a lot of potential with the game and there is a lot to do. I didn't realize that until I went to Odin Shell out of curiosity and the rest of the game opened up. You build a base, shops, upgrade altars, ore refiners, and more. So you bounce between the main world and the floating one to follow quests, farm resources, store those resources in your infinite treasure chest, and use them as you see fit. You can refine corrupted things you find to craft useable ore, hearts for life and weapons of all types. As for world exploration, I hope to find many hidden nooks and crannies as I go. I also hope with future development there will be more hidden stuff to find across the map as well. I love breaking walls and things to be surprised at finding a hidden area, dungeon portal, or items as that's always rewarding for trekking about. Something I'd like to see in the game would be item fusion. So you can combine your weapons into an even more powerful, new weapon with maybe some features carried over between each. That would be very cool. Also, more gear slots! I think the game is worth your time, even as Early Access. The discord is also very active which is good. No performance issues that I've run into. Characters are aplenty, but they are just avatars. Go claw some baddies like a scratching post and send 'em flying!
