Played for 15 minutes and got depressed
Climbtime is a free VR game. Sounds like crapp, Looks like crapp, plays like crapp. I remember trying this game on my old gaming computer with my Vive when i first got it, it looked like what i see now also. You have Jet sounds constantly in one ear and some musical score in the other ear. No buttons do anything on my controller, except the VR menu button, at least i didn't have to break immersion to close this trash. I figured i'd try this again on my new VR computer using my same Vive, it still is broken. Looks like you can play somewhat from the keyboard and monitor, it looks like what i guess the devs intended. wasd , spacebar and mouse for camera movement. Do Not Download this game. I see the same thing as this negative reviewer. "Literally can't play this. I load the game up, and get some weird split-screen looking thing that doesn't make sense inside or outside of VR ( https://i.imgur.com/7dae7nB.jpg ). No buttons seem to do anything at all."

-bad physics -awkward control +nice view anyway
"Climbtime" is some kind of weird VR focused tech demo where you climb up a bunch of jaggy polygons. It doesn't make much sense to me, either. Is this really what anyone wants to do with their time? Certainly I don't. Anyway there's not much to this "game". Just climb up stuff. Maybe in VR. It's also apparently incomplete with stuff "coming", but nobody seems to have wanted that. And that was years ago. This features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and it's clear the developers behind this didn't understand that. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $3 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 8 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
Developer Response!
The developer has weighed in to inform everyone they didn't read the Developer Usage Rules for Steam "partners", or they deliberately ignored the part where Valve says:
Though it may be tempting, not every review needs to be responded to. A developer response will frequently draw more attention than the original statement, potentially turning a small issue into a much larger community discussion. It's also not a good idea to use this feature to refute customer opinions. Your direct attention can be seen as validation or a defensive attempt to silence your customers.
This is a little disturbing as the developer indicates they started stalking me and feverishly reading through my reviews... either just obsession with me on their part, or desperation to try find something in one of my other reviews that would somehow change the objectively terrible quality of this failed "game". Whatever their motivation, creeping on reviewers like this is not okay. The "developer" argues that I review a lot of games, therefore this game review isn't valid or truthful. Huh. If I changed all my other reviews to positive, would the graphics and gameplay of this crap game suddenly improve? No. The developer seeks any possible angle to throw shade at me personally to discredit my review. You can see what they are trying to do. If this was the only review I have ever written, would that change any of the properties of this game or alter the facts contained in my review? Of course not. My reviews for other games have no bearing on the dismal quality of this failed product. The developer, in the most disturbing ways possible, responds to a game review by stalking the reviewer, breaching Valve guidelines to further this harassment, all because he is desperate to make this about me, somehow, instead of the fact he made a dismally terrible game, published it on Steam anyway, and is now angry because nobody liked the game. This behaviour from an obsessed, creepy developer is simply unacceptable. Gamers, you've seen now the kind of person that made this failed garbage. It explains so much, but excuses none of it. Nothing in the developers pointless breach of Valve guidelines changes any of the objective facts of my review. My review stands unaltered. I cannot recommend this game to anyone.
horrible handeling
Interesting and different. Not a bad game at all. More challenging then other climbing games I have played. Still worth your time to get used to the controls and play through the game. Would give it an 8/10.
Ok this is actually kinda fun guys please play this i am the only one who plays this
