Cliff & Field is an epic tower defense adventure that takes you on a fast-paced, atmospheric and bullet-packed journey through the lands of Cirin as you try to defend your new kingdom from what seems to be an endless wave of monsters.
A NEW WORLD TO DEFEND
After discovering a hidden portal outside your town you’re transported to the land of Cirin where you play as the God-like leader who’s foretold to bring peace to the world of humans. You’ll wield powerful towers and weapons that you’ll get to upgrade and develop as you defend yourself and your newfound kingdom from what seems like a sure demise. The force that brought you to these lands wants you to succeed and helps you reset time so that you can refine your tactics and always come out on top.

This new world holds many secrets in its ingenious construction of towers. You’ll be able to upgrade 6 different towers with 15 different upgrades each, allowing for over 750+ tower combos and thousands of possible strategies to discover as you go.
BUILT FOR REPLAYABILITY
Every run is different in Cliff & Field with things like randomness, critical hit chance, drops, and an ever-evolving onslaught of enemy hordes that adapt to your playstyle. New surprises await each time you decide to defend your land and unlockable permanent upgrades will make even the harder levels manageable with your favorite strategy.
NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE
Permanent upgrades mean you don't have to be an expert player yourself to be able to experience all the story and the glory that awaits in defending your land. Although should you want to challenge yourself there are several challenges awaiting and the possibility to play with or without permanent upgrades applied.

Edit: I am now seeing the crashing issues when I play 60-80+ rounds. Not every time, but definitely noticing the crashing occur when attempting to beat Hard. Certainly disheartening and makes me not want to play because you are never sure if your time investment will be worth anything. Might take a break for a bit until this is figured out.
I still love the game, a lot, and I know the main dev has been very responsive. I am sure things will get sorted out. Looking forward to more from this game.

This game is great. Quite challenging even on the lower levels. Lots of cool options for each tower. Maps are unique and interesting.
Overall very much enjoying everything about this game. I have been burnt out on TD games for a bit, struggling to find a new one that kept my interest... and this is doing it nicely!

Nettes Tower Defense Spiel ohne großen Schnick-Schnack.
Es gibt aktuell 6 Maps, mit je 4 Spielmodi und 4 verschiedenen Schwierigkeitsgraden. Die einzelnen Verteidigungsanlagen können unterschiedlich leveln, z.B. Tempo oder Kraft. Einen kleinen aber sinvollen Skilltree gibt es auch.
Nur eine Speichern- oder Autosave-Funktion wäre schön. Dann kann man mal zwischendurch aufhören oder es tut nicht so weh, wenn das Spiel mal abstürzt (bist bisher nur einmal passiert).
Aber das Spiel ist ja auch noch Early Access.

Performance is so bad it breaks the game. This shouldnt be in EA yet. I know its just two devs but leave it in the oven a bit longer before taking customer money for it.

Ich spiele dieses Game auf einem "Intel I5 -12400f und einer RTX 3060" Leider scheint das nicht zu reichen.
Eigentlich ein gemütliches und schönes Game.... Aber !! Wie bei den meisten "Unity" Games, wird das Spielen in in Level 35 unspielbar. Die FPS sinken rapide und die Lag´s nehmen mit höherem Level zu.
Schade ,.. ich würde es gerne weiterspielen.
