Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 8 → 0/day in the week after.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Super cool game. Gives me "A Short Hike Vibes" but more zelday. I hope more people find it. I actually learned art appreciation and ceramics stuff.
The dev gave me a code because I enjoyed the last game. I did enjoy the last game, but man did I get carried away with this one. This game was much better. Clay Monkey succeeds where Mist Monkey failed in clarity. The open world actually works because of clear objectives. It would have been nice to have a mini-map, but I did appreciate actually having to look at the screen to tell where I'm going rather than watching a blip on a map like most other games. The world is much smaller than in Mist Monkey but there is actually more content there. I was a bit thrown off because some of the assets were resused, but I can imagine the limits as a solo dev and I don't think it will bother most because lets be honest, how many people actually played Mist Monkey? Worth a play!

10/10 would clay monkey again
it gives off feelings of tranquility and peace. the art and music are really nice. in my opinion this game is truly wonderful. i think everyone should play it.
Cool game! Doesn't outstay its welcome. But it seems like there are a lot of secrets to discover. I beat the main game but I still have a lot of post game exploring to get into the secret showcase.
I hope when I pass one day, I come back as the Clay Monkey!
I checked out the kickstarter. Turns out the solo dev is a ceramics professor. I am taking a ceramics class so I got this game for fun and I actually learned a lot. It was pretty relaxing too.
More straightforward than mist monkey, with pretty clear instructions throughout. I think I preferred the openness of mist monkey, but clay monkey is really enjoyable as well -- it's super relaxing, with beautiful artwork and lovely sounds. I would absolutely recommend this game if you're looking for something relaxing, and it's probably easier to get into than mist monkey, but if you enjoy clay monkey I would really recommend mist monkey too!
PLAY THIS GAME!!! Especially if you're finding yourself stuck with your own art or projects at the moment! This game is such a sweet and simple little tale about the creation process behind art and how the artist finds their inspiration and motivation to keep creating - no matter the outcome. And in a poetic sense, that is reflected in the game itself and the player's journey playing it. While the main game itself is quite linear and straightforward - when you lean into your curiosity, you begin to find secrets all around the different biomes, and some of those secrets or extra pieces of content were harder to get to and will make you scratch your head. I was stumped by a few of these secrets but because I couldn't find any guides or walkthroughs for this game out there, I had to rely on myself, enjoy the process and explore different angles - which is EXACTLY the WHOLE POINT of this game. I realised that the mentality I was applying to trying to solve the puzzles in the game was reflecting the art advice the different monkey statues around the map had given me. In the end I managed to find every secret (that I know of) all on my own. That was powerful and became a direct example of exactly what this game is about and the message to take away from it. Trust the process. Be curious. As an artist myself, this game truly resonated with me and I'm going to recommend it to anyone who might feel themselves in an art block or perhaps too afraid to start a project they've been meaning to. TL;DR: A small game with a big message - and an underlying example of that message if you take the it at face value while you play. Clay Monkey: The Master Potter and the Kiln God is a piece of art itself :)
