Class of '09: Puzzle Showdown

Literaly an EXACT copy of pokemon puzzle league. Buy it on sale and don't waste your money, watch the cutscenes on youtube if you really want to know what's happening in it.

This "game" is literally 99% puzzle 1% shallow dialogue that doesn't add anything to the experience and the puzzle part of the game is boring and very clunky. Literally any other puzzle game is better.

Exact same puzzle matching style as Tetris Attack, which is very addicting on its own, especially if you know how to optimize into chain combos. Story is alright as a Newcomer in the Co09 series, thought it was pretty funny, unhinged, and a good way to introduce the characters. There really isn't anything to complain about except the Online Multiplayer. How am I supposed to show off my skills to the few other players playing if the only way to play with others online is via some dumbass room code system. Please update the game to feature a server browser, because the only other realistic way to play with others would be via the Discord server which doesn't even give you access to any of the channels to find people to play with even after joining for a few days now. Another simple wish would be for more playable characters that are shown during the campaign to be playable in multiplayer. Absolutely no reason the Puzzler and wannabe Gangster character are Campaign NPC exclusive. Nice 8/10 for me though, 9/10 if they make make online multiplayer actually feasible to play with a server browser and add the other characters to be played as.

did i just spend £20 on a candy crush game just because it had emily in it? maybe. do i regret it? yup

If you like puzzle games like this, its a really great game-it lacks a bit story wise but it is decently fun! The kelly weekend story is interesting too... I'd def reccomend getting this on sale for the gameplay at least, but if you're looking for a story related class of 09 game its not really worth it.

the game is MUCH harder than it seems. im not even finished on nicole's story and i have over 50 losses

Id say this is defo a half and half game depending on the person! for me i really enjoy it because i like puzzle games but i also think some people would have an issue with it because your paying 18 quid for what people would call a free mobile app. Personally the anime scenes and the new style to how the game is played out it really cool and very out there considering the others are novels in a game. Id wait for a sale if you arent too sure though!
