ChronoBreach Ultra

While I was playing this game, it reminded me about all the great, iconic flash games I played while I was back at school. Thats how good this game is. For such a low price, this game is a thrilling, action packed experience. Some of my favorites parts about the game are ... -The variety of weapons you can buy and use. few are similar to one another, while others are unique and interesting to use. - Arena mode is great addition and adds replayability, in a challenging way. -The 4 main levels are nice and challenging. Level design gets harder and harder the more you move on. Which is a great thing for challenge. -Fighting against the 4 bosses is really fun and rewarding once you beat them. One of the best highlights in my opinion. If you are looking for a short, sweet, and challenging game. This is definitely it. Good job developer :)

I really wish I could have given this game a thumbs up, but I am too disappointed with my experience and a lack of response to do so. My story is as follows: Having played the original ChronoBreach, I was incredibly excited to find out this game had managed to sneak out. I purchased it and started playing, but after a while thought something was off and looked at the Steam FPS counter down in the corner and saw an FPS count in the low 40s. "Huh," I thought, "that's weird. I've got a pretty sweet computer and am having no issues on any other application, yet I'm only getting about 40 frames per second." The game didn't feel very tight, unlike I had remembered, and after not too long I closed it down. I loaded back up the original game on a whim and was immediately impressed again. The action felt quick, exciting, and smooth. I looked down into the corner, and saw that I was getting 60 fps. Even though I had a 120Hz monitor, it wasn't a big deal that it was capping at 60, since everything felt great regardless. I completed the game in a short amount of time, and after that, decided to give this game another shot. I was immediately disappointed. The gameplay felt lethargic, slow, unresponsive, and somewhat inactive, and the game became more of a strategy game than an action shooter (normally, I like strategy games, but not like this). I look down at the FPS counter -- 38. Eventually I decided I wanted to get all the weapons, so I decided to start using the arena to get circuits. And things started to go horribly wrong -- at one point, my FPS dropped down to 18, and it felt like I was in constant slow-mo. I would guess this game uses a frame-step tool, which works well with the timer, but it can cause things like this to be major issues. My FPS never recovered. I was entirely unable to get above 30 fps after this, and I'm still disappointed that these issues are occurring on a computer with an 8-core 2.2GhZ CPU, 16G RAM, and a RTX 3050 Ti. To the developer: I decided to do some more digging and found out the game was made in Node.js. While this is certainly a creative way to make a game, if it cannot have consistent framerates on overpowered builds that struggle nowhere else, I'm going to have to recommend you discontinue use of the framework.

A fun game that mixes an old retro feel with innovative new mechanics. The guns are fun and the boss fights are cool. Overall worth the money even at full price.

This is such a fun little platform game. I've had a blast playing it so far. 100% worth the price, honestly I'm surprised its not at least $10.

キーボード＆マウスの横スクロールアクションゲーム。ツインスティックシューター。この↓ゲームの完成版みたいな感じ。お試しでどんなゲームか遊んでみたい人は無料版をプレイすると良いと思う。色々仕様は違うものの「こんな感じ」というのは体験できる。 https://store.steampowered.com/app/971210/ChronoBreach/ 無料版では1ワールドだけだったのが4ワールドに増えている。武器も2つ持てるし、10種類ぐらいあって色々使える。スキンはまぁ…自己満足だな！　進めるとWave形式のアリーナが登場し、基板（お金的なもの）を稼ぎやすくなる。そういった諸々が増えて完全版って感じ。プレイ感も結構違うので、最初にこっちを買った人も無料版をプレイすると面白いと思う。 気になる点はカクついてくる場合があること。タイトルに戻るだけでは解消しないので、元のFPSに戻す場合はソフトを再起動する必要がある。実際にはFPSが下がって難易度が下がるので、まぁそれはそれで…という気がしないでもない。 あとは進行に関係のないバグがいくつかあると思う。ただ、うまくすると壁抜けができるようなので、スピードランする場合には意識してもいいかもしれない。下方向への壁抜けは実際に起きた。リスポーン時に移動できなくなる事があったが、その場合はメニューに戻るしか無いと思う。 スピードラン要素もあってやり込みたい人もやれる。そうでなくてもただ遊びたい人にはちょうどいいぐらいの難易度だと思うし、実績は解除し易いのでオススメ。

Chrono Breach es un juego de plataformas en 2D, con temática robomecánica, espíritu propio y completo en sí mismo. El estilo gráfico de los enemigos, los escenarios y los fondos son sencillos, pero apegados a la temática propuesta. Siendo muy simpático el diseño del Robot protagonista y los skins desbloqueables. Los efectos de sonido y la música son complementarios al juego y no resultan tediosos. El juego permite iniciar el modo principal y posee un escenario de lobby donde puedes desbloquear armas y skins con los puntos que recolectes en el juego, así como rejugar escenarios ya completados o continuar en tu último punto de guardado. Eventualmente, aparecerá el modo elegible Arena en este lobby, donde enfrenarás oleadas consecutivas de enemigos. Además, incluye el modo Speedrun para los interesados. Por otra parte, el control de la movilidad del PJ no está mal, a pesar de percibirse ligeramente sensible en plataformas reducidas. La finalidad de cada nivel será llegar al final de la escena, superando diversas dinámicas de escenarios y enemigos, resultando en niveles de diversa dificultad. Una mecánica propia e indispensabe en ciertos niveles es el de controlar el tiempo, ralentizándolo o paralizándolo en tu favor. A lo largo de las escenas irás recolectando puntos que te recuperarán HP y te permitirán desbloquear diversas armas (espadas, rifles lases automaticos, portagranadas, etc) y skins del juego, brindándole una variedad al juego, que se agradece bastante. Este título, resulta entretenido, demostrando que no se requiere gráficos de última generación o niveles interminables para ser un juego completo y entretenido de concluir. Recomendado.
