"ChronoRecorder" is a 3D puzzle game. Players can manipulate time and gravity. And you have to use that ability to solve problems. You might think this game is difficult if you don't use your brain.

"Chrono Recorder" is a bit like Q.U.B.E. from Temu (which is a problem because Q.U.B.E. already feels like it was from Temu), but also with a stopwatch. What do you do in the game? This is another first person adventure/Portal/Q.U.B.E. wannabe (I think from Korea). You're in a maze, you have a stopwatch and a camera, you can stop or slow down time which you need to do to negotiate your way through the level. The whole thing will be very familiar if you've played Portal (but this lacks as many interesting mechanics), and will also feel very familiar if you've played as many awful games as I have. It's janky and unpolished, which doesn't help. There's bugs that can kill your progress. I think, worst of all, the puzzle and level design is really poor, it's just not to the same standard as more professionally developed first person puzzlers. The graphics aren't great, minimalist low poly stuff with placeholder textures... it's a failure. That's understandably a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. Most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's usually some kind of monetisation, from nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, to any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable, or something you might want to spend your time on. A peak of 9 concurrent users for a "free" game is a disastrous public reception. Out of 130 million potential players here on Steam, almost nobody was interested. Even though this is "free". That level of rejection speaks a lot for the quality of the product. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? I think you should give this one a miss. Although it's free, your time and storage are valuable resources, and the market is filled with superior options.

nice
Nice little puzzle game that makes you think. Similar to portal but different enough and free!
I liked that one time my head was stuck to the floor
Creative puzzles, a good short game to play through.
Good game, too easy, but the mechanics are very interesting. BAGS, the platform in the level with balls that need to be tapped on the yellow button, pushed my character out of the level and I could not finish the game. As for the plot, there is none.
