Christmas Wonderland 13

I really enjoy the Christmas Wonderland games but this version on Steam is not the full version with all the extras and available at other sites. Refunded. Edit: "Christmas Wonderland 13: Collector's Edition" was released on Steam four weeks after I posted my initial review, and has all the extras.

I love this series, and I especially love this latest game (number 13), because it has new things added, like the Frosty we find in each scene, and the items we buy in the shop are now placed in a separate scene. I bought the CE version at another site where this game came out first, but am not at all interested in the extra scenes and puzzles that you get with the CE version. The extra scenes don't seem to be very christmassy, and to me don't look like they are essential to the main story. And as for the puzzles: I am not a big fan of word search puzzles, of which there are several, and I would do the jigsaw puzzles if the pieces weren't kept on the image itself. Takes me forever to put them to one side. So that's off-putting for me. Anyway, I love replaying these games, but without the added scenes from the CE, so I have bought this game again here on Steam, as a Standard Edition. And it's the best buy I have made all year. BTW, in the "About the Game" section, it says that there are 3 game modes. But there are only two in the SE. The "Extreme" mode is only available in the Collector's Edition.

this is one of the games, certainly a game of all time
