Christmas Adventures: A Winter Night's Dream is a nice cozy game where you have to find many hidden objects to solve puzzles. The soundtrack who's very good is based on christmas mood and the designs are great. I recommend it!!! 🎄❤️

:steambored: This is a very beautifully drawn game that doesn´t seem to make any sense. There are some hidden object games in there - as is to be expected. Sadly though, all the riddles don´t really make sense and most of the time you do not really know what to do. Figuring out what has to happen next got boring fast for me and I had no fun playing this game. If you like hidden object games with a christmassy flair - well go ahead and buy it on extreme discount. But don´t expect a fun experience.

Я понял почему тут многие не довольны игрой, ЭТОЙ ИГРОЙ... Вроде всё красиво нарисовано даже анимации классные и поиск предметов есть и загадки. НО ВОТ СМЫСЛ И ЛОГИКА ТУТ, ОЧЕНЬ СИЛЬНО ХРОМАЕТ. === ПРОБЛЕМЫ В ИГРЕ === 1) ОЧЕНЬ НЕ ЛОГИЧНЫЕ ДЕЙСТВИЯ В ПОИСКАХ ПРЕДМЕТОВ. 2) ОЧЕНЬ МАЛО ПРЕДМЕТОВ КОТОРЫЕ НАДО ИСКАТЬ в КУЧАХ мусора. 3) Сюжет какой то не полный. Какие то руны которые главный герой сразу знает. 4) КОНЦОВКА ХРОМАЕТ, всё ради ЛОШАДКИ??? И то концовка не полная... === 5+ из 10 балов по залепанию. НЕ СОВЕТУЮ БРАТЬ ИГРУ ЗА ПОЛНУЮ ЦЕНУ, если вы хотите купить её и вы фанат таких игр. Бери с огромной скидкой.

I love Hidden Object games and especially holiday types, but this has got to be the worst I've ever played. I've never had to use the hint button so much and still only in the beginning level no less. I just deleted it, not worth the time no matter how low they drop the price.

one of the most boring and frustrating HOGs i have ever played. your goal in the game is to "bringing the real spirit of Christmas to the pagan village".. i have no problem with the religious stuff... but the game is just plain stupid! pros. ok music cons. extremely slow and frustrating the HO scenes doesn't start right away... first you have to do many combine this with that to get this in a very slow animation faze translations errors wrong puzzle instructions at one part of the game almost everything makes zero sense... normal for HOGs but this one is just NONE! i had to start spamming items just to get it right... and i played HUNDREDS of HOGs short game play time 2 hours 22 minutes (including mega slow game play) if it wasnt so slow maybe 1 hour max. no bonus chapter overall i do not recommend this game even on sale. stay away. 1/10 for the efforts.

if you want a great puzzle and hidden object game, please click the search bar on Steam and search for Christmas Carol. its not much better, but it is so much better than this game right here. there isn't a way to keep track of objectives and when you pick up new objects, it doesnt really tell you what to do with them. therefore, i felt really lost through the game. the story is you are a man that lost his christmas spirit. it honestly feel like a ploy, and that i am a man that was kidnapped to do these people their bidding and to clean up their ♥♥♥♥ that they don't have together.

This game is somewhat simplistic in the hidden object genre of games. It might be entertaining for young audiences, but for seasoned gamers, it may lack the challenge and the extras (like mini game challenges) that make the hidden object game more enticing to play. So for my personal playing choice, this game was a bit sub par, but still might be enjoyable to play if it were not for the following issue. The biggest negative is that it fails to save your game progress. Each time I have had to quit mid-game, when I start the game again, it begins back at the very beginning. I believe this is a bug and they may fix it in a future release. The hint to my last comment is that they do provide for multiple profiles to be saved. Yet it fails to save game progress. Due to this action, I can't give it a positive recommendation. UPDATE: After doing some troubleshooting, I now have the game saving my progress. I uninstalled the game, shut down Steam, reboot my computer, restarted Steam, and then performed the install again on this game. I have now played the game more and have performed 6 game exits as a test. Each time I re-started the game back up, it took me to where I left off. Much better. Another reviewer mentioned the same problem with saving game process, so I still believe there is a bug in the program that may be difficult for the developers to replicate so that they can apply a fix. I may have just been lucky with my fix. Because of this update, I can now change my recommendation to a positive one. UPDATE #2: Unfortunately, after 4 hours of play time within this game, it appears (in my opinion) to have more problems. I am at a point in the game where I can't advance. All attempts have failed to advance play. In all accessible locations, even the hint option indicates there is nothing to do. Only one item is in the inventory cart and even after resorting to a walk through reference, attempting to place the one inventory item where it is supposed to go does not work. Going through every step in the walk through to verify nothing had been previously missed did not help. The next steps to move forward in the walk through can not be completed either. The game appears to be stuck waiting for something to be completed that has probably already been accomplished. Since there is no way to back up, the game hint function nor the walk through does not indicate a problem or what may be missing, I can't finish the game (without completely restarting). This forces me to reverse my recommendation to a negative review.

Christmas theme with small number of scenes for a HOG game. The story revolves around a man who hasn't been enjoying Christmas and all of the joy it brings. One night, while working on his graphic novel, he is drawn into the same world he created, where he must save and restore his Christmas spirit. Modern HOG games enable you to customize the difficulty, and this one is no exception. Easy is the ideal option if you want to enjoy and play the game without any difficulties. It also highlights all key elements on the screen and allows you to use tips more quickly. However, you can change the majority of these features and play the game of your choice. First thing I look out for is the game’s cursor. I love that it's big and dynamic, as it changes into a magnifying glass that zooms in on a scene, a hand that indicates you can pick something up, or a cog that indicates you'll need to use an item. Collected objects are stored in the inventory, and you can utilize them by clicking on the object and then the correct spot. When you complete all interactions in a zoomed-in scene, it becomes inactive. However, since the game takes place only on a few scenes, most scenes stay relevant for a lot longer. The game is more comparable to adventure games in that it mostly emphasizes item use. Logic puzzles and HOG scenes are included, but they are not the primary focus. HOG scenes are, nevertheless, highly intriguing because they can be played in two halves. The second section is a standard HOG experience in which you must find eight objects from a list. The first, on the other hand, only provides you with a brief line or clue from which you must locate the correct item. Typically, the same item must be used on another.

There's no sense of direction in this at all, I literally couldn't solve anything without spamming the Hints button, none of the items made sense for their intended uses, and many times I'd click the correct item and attempt to use it on the puzzle and the game wouldn't let me use the item, then would scream at me that it was the item I needed to use, exactly where I'd been trying to use it. Buggy as hell. Don't waste your time or money.
