Chorus of Carcosa

I played for about an hour into the game. Throughout that hour I experienced four crashes all at the start of a level. Before that I would fight with the game to get it to properly fit within my window, and overall it was not an enjoyable experience. I will give it the plus of art and audio direction. The atmosphere of the game was very strong, but I don't think that makes up for the technical issues that I faced while playing. If it was more polished, and some mechanics were more thoroughly fleshed out, like the sprint, I think that this would be a far more enjoyable game.

Spoopy: 7/10 Overall: 8/10 Good: * Atmosphere and Map Design were fantastic. I recommend looking up at times so you don't miss anything. * Ambient Sound was also fantastic. The game did not rely heavily on loud Music. * The "monsters" were designed really well. * The death scenes were also really great. * Graphics were good. * Had complete Sound Sliders which was nice. * Graphic settings were limited but at least it had a few. * Was voice acted. * Overall the story is good. * Enjoyed the Ending. Bad: * Main characters voice acting was very poor. It took away from the scariness of the game. The main characters voice acting was unintentionally comical. * Some parts of the story remain unexplained. The overall story is easy to understand though. * Game is not overly expensive for what it is, but still slightly overpriced. * Puzzles weren't inherently bad but repetitive. Majority of the puzzles were to figure out a set of numbers. Would of liked more puzzle variety. * Not a huge variety of "monsters". Would recommend this game, especially if it is more than 25% off.

Игра работает-уже хорошо. Она долго разгоняется-по большей части это симулятор ходьбы. Мы играем за мега-дрища в мега-хрущевки. А дрищ он потому, что не может бегать более 10 метров не задыхаясь-зато умеет задерживать дыхание аки покойник-ну обморок одним словом. А еще он боится слепую тощую бабу и чтоб её заколабить к апостолу Петру ему нужен аж целый обрез...ох суров геймдев. В целом игра на раз-но она получилась средненькой. Атмосферы ужаса Каркозы тут не получилось, всё как то серенько, тягомотно и больше напоминает 12 обезьян, чем Лавкрафта. А с головоломки про нотную грамоту я могу смело слать разрабов в школу коррекции-не все музыканты если вы не знали!? Могли бы нотный стан с изображением самих нот куда-нибудь запихать! Вообщем эту игру стоило назвать: Один день в общаге коридорного типа...

Starts fine, but gets really tedious to play after an hour or so.

Güzel fena değil yalnız oyun içi İstanbul, galata kulesi, sultan Ahmet cami, ve bir de Atatürk resimleri koymuşsunuz duvarlara eyvallah iyi hoş da eee oyuna Türkçe altyazı bile koymayı düşünmemişsiniz. Ne alaka yani dimi prim için mi koydunuz sırf ondan sebep olumsuz verecektim vermiyorum hadi neyse.

Не игра, а помойка. Говорю, как большой поклонник мастера Чемберса и его коллег по творчеству. Игра ни на секунду не передаёт ту атмосферу, а нагло ворует имена ради аляповатых отсылок. Наиграл три часа, из которых минут 5 настраивал сенсу, и полчаса на экране паузы, когда внезапно позвонили. Просто отстой, даже по скидке.

A nice short horror game for those who enjoy some Lovecraftian stuff, especially if you are a Hastur/King in Yellow simp like me. Only frustrating part were the statue enemies that needed a better use of a checkpoint system

10/10 game, played it while sitting with some friends and we genuinely laughed so hard at parts we cried. I have no idea if it was supposed to be a comedy but god was it funny.

TERRIBLE story line with nonsensical dialogues. Started decent and then made me regret my time spent around 1 hour in.
