Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 18.29/day in the week to Sep 11 → 19/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Yes, you can bench press your way to better woodworking.
No, we will not explain the science.

The game is great early on, with a lot of charm reminiscent of Banjo-Kazooie and Conker’s Bad Fur Day (even the music feels like a reference to old Rare titles), but as many others have said, the mid-to-late game is pure grind with no worthwhile upgrades or interaction. It goes from fun and engaging to boredom and backtracking seemingly out of nowhere and just kinda leaves you there, as though they ran out of steam and just wanted to get the project released. If there was some actual automation, eg automatic tree harvesting and refinement, the later hours might not feel as awful. I definitely recommend playing, but for fellow completionists it’s a real slog. I hope the dev(s) make some changes because if they properly flesh out the late game, this could really be a gem! Early game: 8/10 Late game: 2/10
Got fired from a funiture megacorp. Got to flip them off and started my own wood logging company. Also bombed them with furniture I made. Dont need thearapy anymore. Takling chest and bober allies got it covred. Also wood is much more flexible then you "wood" think. Just dont trust the ducks they are evil

Chop trees, flip your old job the bird and make furniture... I love the quirky stories and it seems to be relaxing so far... I am not really too far into the story but I plan on making a lot furniture and getting all the achivements... I love this game
It's a pretty relaxing game. Doesn't require much grinding which allows you to make significant progress rather fast
refreshing

Came in expecting braindead tree-chop-slop, and was gonna be fine with that. To be clear, this is NOT a "clear the forest" incremental-type game. You do plenty of chopping, but midway through the game becomes more about fulfilling tons of orders with your automated production line, and keeping its inputs full. Not hard once you figure out what things you tend to need the most of (basically auto-harvest metal trees forever). Still, it's not an automation game, really. I can't put my finger on it, but something is missing here. There's never a moment of satisfaction, of payoff. Rewards for a mission tend to be either more missions or a blueprint that allows you to complete more missions. I can't really say what this game is. This was very nearly a thumbs down for me because of the very minor, very inconsequential easter egg set of tasks that I took on post-game. You're given the most vague, obtuse "hints" that aren't really hints. The kind of thing you will 100% have to look up, and when you see the answer, you're angry. Because you had a sense of what the task might be, but the logical leap was so nonsensical that you just end up mad over an easter egg. So yeah, it's an interesting game I suppose. I don't think I'll ever think about it again, but hopefully it spurs more innovation in the ever-expanding tree-chopping game space. A fine way to kill a weekend while 2-screening.
