the writing is very strange...
At least the game is honest. There are no graphics or tidbits of game mechanics to make believe this is a game rather than a story. All you have is text and tons of choices. Your choices change the story. Your choices can end the story early. There is nothing more here. This time the story is set in a supernatural law office and you are a new associate in a firm dealing with demons, gods, and other supernaturals needing legal assistance. The idea is kind of interesting. The story choices are adequate. The writing is all right. not a game, but has more choices with a bigger affect than a lot of games. If you don't like to read real books but like stories, here is a substitute. Not bad writing. Just not the best. Good for multiple play throughs but each play-through is only a couple hours so get it cheap.
Could look a bit less like it was made with MSPaint
Tags: Adventure - Choose your own Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Re-reading the same chapters over and over hurts replay value. More of an ebook than a game. Substandard "engine". Not really worth sinking time into.
Fun short text adventure.
Needed more Wakefield
Incredible.
Great CoG title.
Good text-based RPG. Creative and original setting, interesting characters, great writing style.
