Would I recommend the game? No. I do enjoy it though. I don't think I ever thought the game was difficult logistically but its tedium led me to slow blink a couple of times and that extra second of blink would cause me to lose the level. Levels that rely on luck don't appear often, but the fact luck is needed at all for a puzzle/logic game would be a no-go for a lot of puzzle players I know. The controls aren't as responsive as I'd like them to be either. Its a hard pitch to anyone who hasn't already played the series and has some nostalgia for it. I think I'll continue to play this version in my off time when I remember the game exists, but otherwise I would suggest playing the original if you can.
A++++ I am 41 years old, and played this game in my younger years as a kid. This game ages like fine wine, never gets old and only better over time! Hours of fun, and makes you have to think before making the wrong move. Frustration tends to find the best of me sometimes, and I have to walk away from the computer on some levels. We need more games like this. Challenging, fun but feels like it never ends!

Epic but hard
The time limit is not something I personally enjoy, but someone may be into it. However, the level is designed in such a way that player needs to fail several times. Since some traps can only be avoided when you fall them already. I personally do not like these kind of design, as it basically forces the player to replay the same part over and over, while gaining nothing in terms of knowledge or technique. Overall, cannot recommend unless you are okay with this type of design.
Finally found and completed the game that was such a challenge (pun intended) n my childhood. 10/10 recommend if you want a real challenge with no frills. Just skill and perseverance.
Even if this had a price-tag I'd be saying to get this game - a classic of the times for Windows users over a good couple decades, a proper puzzler for block-push fans. That it's free makes this a no-brainer. Sure, some stages could take the mickey from time to time, but there's enough clever stuff to play through that it'd be a shame to say "No Thanks!" to something like this. Grab it, slap some graphics on it if you'd like, and prepare to work your way through the halls of the Clubhouse, wondering just how a computer club got all this square-footage of space for their set-ups! I guess the late 80s was more generous to the techy types.
