Wonderful game where you can be as creative and expressive as you want Where are the ideas And creativity has no Boundaries people were okey to get along with It's pretty good for a couple years unfortunately I say Farewell Recommend 10 out of 10
Great for vibin with friends c:
Well now time to put my review after for some time since I've been around here for quite a bit from the past and I skipped a few years and now I'm here I think this is the best alternative to VR chat but to be fair the devs are more interactive talkative Hangouts they will actually come and talk to you if you have a suggestion sometimes it's rare but it will happen apparently now the people that actually do hate reviews to be honest they have no idea what they're doing nor do they like to make complaints about it or they were just probably being toxic that they don't understand about the game at all I'm currently really loving this game and I chill out with our team I really hope they see this review 'cause I will be interested to make a full on trailer video for chill out VR and with my utmost respect I feel like these guys can actually put VR chat on the ground if they actually decide to 1 add easier avatar support to a brand new conversion setup and three they allow modding your game mods that can be seen by everybody due to VR chats standards they don't even know what the modding community can do to make the game better now with all due respect chill out VR team is a little far behind but they're catching up quite quickly they're making a new menu they're making new avatar upload systems and everything so they might be doing a full on UI rebrand and once that happens I feel like VR chat might actually get put in the ground after that and here's my final result for chill out VR of my own rating community 8 out of 10 ( small numbers for now big numbers later) exploration in worlds 10 out of 10 community guides 10 out of 10 toxic people 0 out of 10 ( there are none literally) gameplay overall and menu UI 9.5 out of 10 I say this is a pretty good rating for me because not a lot of games to get this from me honestly give this game another try stick with it join public worlds stop being so scared this is where you make friends not enemies like VR chat and I highly recommend this game if anybody wishes to actually give their time and effort to actually try to make something of themselves in this game thank you for reading my review and I hope I actually get to make a trailer video for chilloutVR
Better and less goy version of VRChat
Amazing game: There is gameplay There are tons of mods and the mod community is alive Loads of cool, customizable avatars Actual, working (sometimes) moderation system and much more! I anjoy this game for all the social mechanics and the OG and non-OG avatars people create and modify to make them unique like them.

I do like this game, but it has some problems. This game seems to be very unstable for me and apparently am the only person who's experiencing it and it is the only game that does that for me, Whenever i try to download a world or an avatar the game decides to make it get stuck, to fix world downloading i have to keep rejoining the same instance or load other worlds and hope that it will work, for avatars clicking "Reload Avatars" doesn't fix anything, deleting cache didn't help either, in fact nothing helps unless i relaunch the game. People keep telling me that it is on my end, like i said this is the only game that has that issue and any other game never struggles with downloading things so i have my doubts despite living in a 3rd party country that likes to make my life miserable and even if it really is on my end then there's really nothing i can do about it. Some events hosted in this game involve world switching often like Cottage Karts so even if i wanted to participate then i wouldn't be able to thanks to that particular problem. One person did tell me that this game has really strange networking but neither they seem to have that issue, Any other networking issue that the game suffers from are either no big deal like "Ghost Players" and "Ghost Instances" which usually happens when someone crashes but they look like they remain in the instance. For some reason the game still shows me that there's one empty Friends Only instance of Atoll Of Ether but joining leads to an offline world? which appeared after an electric blackout that happened to me. At the time of writing this review prop spawning is somewhat broken, a quick rejoin fixes it, am not the only one who have that issue and i heard they are working on a fix...right? I ended up flash-banging people by spamming portals in a world that has a stupid amount of bloom, did i actually spam portals? am not sure it didn't show up for me it only showed up for others. Also wtf is this rule? "§1.3 In order to protect the safety, integrity, and functionality of the platform and its users, our moderation and security teams reserve the right to take appropriate action - including account suspension - even in cases where no explicit rule has been violated, but user behavior poses a risk to the community or the platform’s operation.". Am not the only one who thinks this rule is weird. In other words you could delete 90% of the words and just leave "moderation and security teams reserve the right to take appropriate action - including account suspension - even in cases where no explicit rule has been violated," and it will still feel the same, it literally translates to "We're allowed to kick or ban you for any reason we want regardless of the rules.", you can't just say "in order to protect" and then say "ban even when no rules have broken" at the same time, i believe we already established obvious rules that say "don't be malicious". [strike]Apparently there are rumors that say this rule was added after some big drama involving a ban that happened a few months ago which caused a lot of people to leave this game.[/strike] Turns out the rumors were false, neat. Oh yeah big dramas do exist. I often see people get mad at any kind of criticism, same issue with Resonite apparently from what am hearing. Well i guess i should prepare some popcorn and in case the comment sections fills up with some weird talks. I also hear sometimes hate towards specific individuals. Also this game used to have an option to buy the Unlocked Account which will give you a bit of stuff from what i heard but they removed it from steam and now it is locked behind another login wall which involves making a Patreon account and paying a sub. You know some people want to support this game without making extra accounts. At first when i asked why they removed it they kept it secret from me for whatever reason but now they tell me it was because people kept spamming refunds and it caused problems on their servers, really? that was the secret? what's so secret about this???? was it really secret? is it still a secret am i in trouble for bringing it up? whatever i think people should know. Something is telling me there's more than that though. Changing Username is a bit of a process, you need to email the staff which takes time....WHY???? 2FA is missing, some people get paranoid not having it. In populated instances (17+ players depends on the world too) the game will start to struggle and when someone joins everyone will start to freeze regardless on how many avatars appear and props, at least that's for my case. I did hear a lot of people complain about lag and freezes when it happens, when people are all piled up in one place it makes it very difficult to avoid. No offline local testing like you would in VRChat, i heard it is planned but i don't see it coming any time soon so for now you have to upload your work and keep it private until you're done. i am assuming they do have a team, and really i hear a lot of drama coming from that team apparently unless am delusional. There used to be problems with video player where it would throw "Error: No error", The fix was very simple, someone made a very simple mod that fixes it which for some reason worked for everyone but me, after messing with the files i discovered that you don't need the mod, and i also discovered that the mod didn't mention you needed a nightly version of the MelonLoader which also works with the stable branch of this game. When i complained to one of the devs they said "Nothing we can do about it" while clearly that wasn't true because eventually they actually did something about it and fixed it. AND OF COURSE It lacks people but i see it as a good thing for me lol. While i am leaving a negative review the cons somehow don't out-weight the pros for me and this game is still the poison that i would pick and stay in. At least until the game becomes completely unplayable. Maybe once they fix their networking i would have changed the review from negative to positive because really that is the only big issue i have, anything else i mentioned is just things that people need to be aware of. The game still performs better than Resonite does when it comes to framerate. No Kernel Anti Cheat BS that bans you for using a ShadowPC. No ID Verification BS....Unless you join a grouped event hosted by a creep that asks you to. Moderating groups will bypass blocks for obvious reasons, i think that's good so you don't have to ban someone for blocking you. Modding support, of course! No "Nuisance" rank so no one gets punished for moderating. No Microtransactions. Trolls who like to harass people actually get what they deserve here.
Never in my life i though VR Game can be such disappointment
