Es una forma nueva y muy entretenida de jugar un clásico como es el ajedrez. El pixel art es muy bonito.

I absolutely love this game. I used to be indifferent towards chess, but it turns out this is a challenging game with a truly addictive hook. Even if you're not a chess expert, the mechanics are intuitive enough to pick up quickly, allowing you to focus on the strategy. I’m a huge fan of roguelites, and the way you unlock cards that change the rules really helps you push forward against an opponent that seems unbeatable. Every run feels unique thanks to the random appearance of the cards you've unlocked. Finally, and this is my favorite part, I have to highlight the beautiful graphic design and pixel art, accompanied by an immersive soundtrack. It adds a cozy touch that I didn't expect from a roguelite. Overall, Chesscent is a game that will challenge you time and time again, but will give you a great sense of satisfaction as you progress. It’s clear that a lot of love was poured into this project. Highly recommended if you want a fresh, cozy take on a classic!

The game is challenging. Don't expect an easy win. The best part is the thrill of the cards that change everything. If you like chess and want to have fun... this is a great game.

Romper las reglas del ajedrez desbloqueando cartas para vencer a la despiadada IA. Simplemente brillante. Jugué a la demo y estaba deseando que saliera el juego para poder desbloquear todas las cartas. Un auténtico reto. El apartado artístico es brutal con un Pixel Art precioso y una música chulísima para evadirse jugando al mejor ajedrez de una forma innovadora. Muy recomendable. Gracias por crear está joya ^^

Really cool concept for a game, but unfortunately I think that it has many flaws. I am talking from a 1000s perspective coming from chess.com, and I think that this game (although beautiful and well written) suffers from being way too hard. Playing against an engine that has capabilities of stockfish no matter the opponent felt like going against an impossible challenge, even with the cards and take backs. I wish there was more of a progression with medium challenges all the way up to impossible, not just starting straight at impossible. Also, they engine that is used to run the bots is very linear and it doesnt have any variation in lines against your openings. I hope updates come to this game, and there is more added, because currently it is pretty much just you versus stockfish 18 with skins.

Que buen juego, combinr la idea del ajedrez con tipos de cartas para poder vencer a la maquina es genial. Viva el PixelArt, todo lo demas esta condenado en el infierno!

Yo no solía jugar al ajedrez hasta ahora, entre la música, los efectos, el pixel art y el ambiente, te incita a seguir jugando una y otra vez. Además, desbloqueas cartas para darle un matiz nuevo e interesante al ajedrez habitual lo cual hace que la experiencia de juego sea refrescante y siempre varía. Es un buen y entretenido reto, lo recomiendo.

Altamente recomendable para aquellos que: 1. No tengan miedo a que les pateen el culo al ajedrez repetidamente 2. No tenga prejuicios morales para hacer trampas al ajedrez 3. No tengan miedo a que les pateen el culo al ajedrez a pesar del punto 2 de la lista 4. Republicanos deseosos de deshacerse de su Rey La banda sonora es deliciosa y ayuda a no destrozar el teclado cuando te patean el culo al ajedrez. Juegazo.

This game is a real challenge. The bot have no soul and gives you almost no chance to win, even with cards, and that’s exactly what makes it so engaging. You slowly improve without even realizing it, and the mix of random cards and progression (or not really) keeps every run fresh. Each attempt makes you feel like you’re getting closer to victory… although I’m still not sure it’s actually possible. For now, I’ll keep trying.
