In this game, we embody an extremely angry rat that must defend itself from sewer monsters to survive. We have plenty of weapons available to achieve this.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. Copies below reflect the player base, not paid sales.

Steam is drowning in thousands of lazy, low-effort 2D platformers, and "Chefcito Asesino" is yet another one. I'm not kidding, there's over 17,000 platformers on Steam, almost all of them are garbage, amateur kitbashes. This is not one of the good ones. This is a very medicore 2D platformer shooter where you get to control a rat with a gun. The rat has the gun, rather, and you control the rat. That's all there is to this... a mediocre and shallow platformer designed for iPhones and inexplicably up on Steam as a once-paid product. Imagine trying to charge PC gamers for mobile apps on Steam. The platforming genre is pretty much obsolete... just a tiny number of professionally developed platformers exist on PC and offer any real value or interest to gamers (Silksong, etc). This is nowhere near being as good as Hollow Knight or Silksong. Even without a price tag, it's easy to see why gamers ignored this in favor of modern, professionally developed 3D games. This is offering nothing new or interesting, so it's easy to see why this failed. There's no English translation for the game, but that's okay. The language of bad games is universal. This is a mobile app, made for app stores, not PC... it doesn't matter if this was ported to PC before or after the app store release, or even if this didn't even make it to the app stores. This was made by mobile app "developers", and intended for the lowest common denominator in gaming, and it must be judged accordingly... there's no contemporary, modern PC gaming experience in mobile apps. That detail alone is reason enough to reject this from any kind of recommendation to PC gamers. We don't spend thousands building gaming rigs so that we can pretend they're iPhones and play iPhone games and mobile apps. The amateur pixelcrap visual presentation here at best could have been an attempt to use "retro" as a crutch, a weak excuse to avoid admitting the developer wasn't capable of doing the job of a game developer this decade and creating cutting edge, high quality 3D visuals. While a lack of skill or funding is the explanation for this failure, it's no excuse. The end result of this incompetence is a game that looks dramatically inferior to professionally developed games. Terraria and Undertale succeeded despite looking crap, not because they look crap. Let's look at the price and what kind of value this actually offers gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $1 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. A peak of 2 concurrent players (according to SteamDB) for a "free" game is a disastrous public reception. Out of 130 million potential players here on Steam, almost nobody was interested. Even though this is "free". That level of rejection speaks a lot for the quality of the game. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? What's the verdict? This is a "nope". While it won't necessarily cost you money, the time and hard drive space it requires could be better invested in one of the many higher quality alternatives on Steam.
joyita bro, bastante entretenido :D
