i know this is pretty much never gonna get another update but, i can't stand the controller settings they are not intuitive at all in game play, that is when the left joystick isn't controlling my laptops volume control on up and down or when trying to use other controls that somehow enable the laptops magnifier app, when using mouse and keyboard the response is sluggish and almost made me sick, and i don't even get motion sick normally. not gonna play this game much if at all, but that is not to say someone out there won't enjoy it, i'm sure there's plenty who enjoy this type of game.
Not a bad little game. Ill need to play more! Ive come back after playing more! This is such a cool little arcade game. Throwing toast at paint cans and dishes... so weird. I like this game and even though its better with mouse and keyboard, it did halfway decent on a ROGAlly. Would recommend!

SUPERRR CUTE AND ADDICTING AND I REALLY LIKE FOOD :333
ZUN! Hire this man!
Champions of Breakfast, developed and published by Pirate Software, is a fast-paced arcade shooter that turns a ridiculous premise into an unexpectedly entertaining experience built around reflexes, precision, and relentless chaos. At its core, it follows the classic bullet-hell formula where survival depends on movement, awareness, and mechanical skill, but what gives the game its identity is how completely it commits to its strange breakfast-themed world. Instead of spaceships or fantasy warriors, players enter battle with breakfast champions and household objects in a bizarre conflict that embraces absurd humor without sacrificing gameplay challenge. The setup immediately establishes the game’s playful personality. A strange crisis threatens breakfast itself, forcing unlikely heroes into action across increasingly chaotic environments. The premise sounds intentionally ridiculous because it is designed that way. Rather than trying to ground its world in realism or complex storytelling, Champions of Breakfast focuses entirely on delivering a humorous arcade experience where absurdity becomes part of the appeal. The game understands exactly what it wants to be and never loses confidence in that identity. Gameplay revolves around surviving increasingly difficult combat encounters filled with enemy projectiles, dangerous attack patterns, and escalating pressure. Bullet-hell shooters demand concentration and precise movement, and Champions of Breakfast delivers that experience effectively. Dodging incoming attacks becomes second nature over time, but early sessions can feel intense as players adapt to enemy behavior and learn how to navigate increasingly crowded battlefields. Movement remains responsive and satisfying throughout progression. Success rarely depends on luck. Instead, improvement comes from learning enemy patterns, refining positioning, and gradually mastering the systems. The game rewards persistence in the same way classic arcade shooters often do. Failure becomes part of the learning process rather than a source of frustration. One of the stronger aspects of the experience comes through character variety. Different breakfast-themed champions and kitchen-inspired combatants introduce distinct playstyles that encourage experimentation. Changing characters alters how encounters feel, creating opportunities to approach challenges from different angles rather than relying exclusively on one strategy. This flexibility strengthens replay value and keeps progression engaging across repeated runs. Enemy design also deserves recognition because it reinforces the game's unusual personality constantly. Household objects become threats, strange food-inspired enemies appear unexpectedly, and environmental absurdity drives much of the visual humor. The world embraces chaos completely, creating encounters that remain memorable because players rarely know exactly what ridiculous obstacle might appear next. Boss encounters become particularly engaging because they push players toward mastering the game’s movement systems. Larger enemies introduce more demanding attack patterns that require concentration and adaptability. As bullet density increases and attacks become more aggressive, survival depends entirely on execution. These moments create some of the strongest gameplay highlights because victories feel earned rather than automatic. Difficulty customization contributes positively to long-term engagement. Additional modifiers allow players to increase challenge levels according to personal preference, creating opportunities for both newer players and experienced arcade enthusiasts. The ability to push difficulty higher supports replayability naturally because mastery remains an ongoing goal rather than something achieved after a single completion. Progression systems also reinforce that replay-focused design philosophy. Leaderboards, unlockable content, and score-chasing mechanics encourage players to improve performance continuously. Arcade games often succeed through repetition and refinement rather than narrative progression, and Champions of Breakfast clearly understands that principle. Visually, the presentation focuses heavily on clarity and personality. Bullet-heavy encounters remain readable despite chaotic action, ensuring players can react appropriately during demanding sequences. Bright visuals and exaggerated designs complement the humorous atmosphere without interfering with gameplay functionality. The absurd art direction helps establish identity while maintaining practical readability during intense moments. Audio design supports the overall experience effectively as well. Sound effects reinforce combat feedback while energetic presentation helps maintain momentum throughout progression. The soundtrack complements the arcade pacing without overwhelming gameplay focus. The game’s strongest qualities naturally create limitations depending on player preference. Champions of Breakfast commits heavily to arcade shooter design. Players looking for narrative depth, exploration mechanics, or progression-heavy systems may struggle to connect with its structure. Bullet-hell gameplay also carries a natural learning curve that may initially feel intimidating for newcomers unfamiliar with the genre. However, players willing to embrace that challenge will discover a surprisingly polished arcade experience beneath the absurd premise. Pirate Software successfully transforms a joke-like concept into something mechanically satisfying and consistently entertaining. What ultimately makes Champions of Breakfast memorable is how effectively it balances humor with challenge. The strange setting creates personality, but the gameplay systems provide the substance necessary to keep players invested long after the novelty wears off. For fans of arcade shooters, score-chasing gameplay, and experiences built around improving skill through repetition, Champions of Breakfast delivers a rewarding and highly replayable experience. Its unusual premise may initially attract attention, but its mechanical foundation gives it lasting value. A chaotic and entertaining arcade shooter that combines challenging bullet-hell action with absurd humor and strong replayability to create an experience that feels both strange and surprisingly satisfying. too hard for me
Addicting small fun game
Its an ok game with a bad dev. Pretty cheap. Would recommend overall though.
Хороший буллет хелл, необычный дизайн, сеттинг ну и механника тоже классные, сказать особо не чего, но мне понравилось
This is a good little highscore game. The game mechanics are really awesome. I particularly like how you have separate control over the crosshairs and the movement at the same time. It really extends the longevity of survivability in each level and causes you make it to the next round by a hair. If you're looking for a high intense, highscore pursuit kind of game, look no further, this is a good one. It is a one level game, that resets from the beginning every time, but the game mechanics and constant changing enemies are really intuitive and makes the replayability long lasting. I like this game. I look forward to seeing more promising games coming from Pirate Software. There's a lot of potential here.
