Chainz 2: Relinked

일반적인 매치-3를 생각하고 플레이하면 다소 답답합니다. 맞춰서 없애기 위한 조건이 '위치' 뿐 아니라 상하 또는 좌우라는 '방향'도 있기 때문에, 흔히 매치-3 하면서 하는 설계가 불가능하고 그때문에 연쇄도 힘듭니다. 연쇄가 되어도 내가 생각해서 한 게 아니라 그냥 운이 좋았다는 생각만 들어서 의미가 없어요. 개발자도 이를 위해 몇 가지 장치를 준비해 놓았는데, 종횡 모두 연결 가능한 클로버 모양 고리라든지, 색깔 관계 없이 연결할 수 있는 무지개 색깔 와일드카드 고리 등이 있습니다. 그런데 그 정도로는 답답함이 해소가 되지는 않네요. 평범한 매치-3에서 벗어난 것까지는 좋았는데, 그 평범함이 왜 식상하지만은 않은지를 깨닫게 해주는 게임이었습니다.

チェーンを回転させて３色合わせて消していくゲーム。 プレイヤーが出来る事は回転させる事と盤面シャッフルのみ。 とにかくゲームオーバーしまくるゲームなのに毎回スコア一覧を 見せられたりとテンポが悪い。また、どこが消せるかなどのヒントを 教えるのが死ぬほど遅かったり攻略のコツ、ヒントをもらえないので 教訓を見つけられない。ただの盤面運ゲーのように思える。 ので、クリアしても達成感はもちろんなかった。

Przyznam szczerze, nie rozumiem dlaczego ta gra ma tak słabą opinię. Kupując ją na Steam, obawiałam się, że ma jakieś problemy, typu zawieszanie itp. Ale nie. Pograłam w nią parę godzin i nie zauważyłam żadnych problemów z grywalnością. Znam tę grę już wiele lat i zawsze bardzo chętnie w nią grałam. Jest to zwykłe, przyjemne klikadełko dla zabicia czasu (choć wbrew pozorom wymaga myślenia). Moim zdaniem absolutnie nie zasługuje na taką ocenę. W opisie jest podane, że jest to gra typu Dopasuj 3, więc chyba komentujący nie przeczytali opisu i po prostu nie lubią tego rodzaju gier. Ja ten typ gry bardzo lubię, stąd moja pozytywna ocena.

Chainz 2 is one of many match-3 puzzlers released during the causal gaming gold rush of the early-to-mid 2000's. This one differs quite a bit from competitors such as Bejeweled in terms of it's difficulty. You have to be a lot more strategic with your matches in this game compared to others, all the while having a higher luck ceiling. It's a good game to stretch your brain with, and it goes well with ambient Aphex Twin music. I'd recommend getting this on sale tho. $10 is a bit too much for a game like this in 2024.

Chainz 2: Relinked is a connect three-in-a-row game, but the twist is that you must link the chain links together to make them dissapear. This game isn't very appealing to the eye. Also, the music isn't the greatest either; it just kind of sounded like they mashed some instrument noises here and there to make a soundtrack. The one good thing about this game is that there are multiple game modes to play other than just a high-score kind of game. The biggest thing that doesn't make it worthwhile is that there's no trading cards, no Steam achievements, and no multiplayer. This is a bit of a unique game, but I don't recommend it.

The game is aging has no resolution support the color palette is a little bit irritating and the music could be longer although it does not grate too much. Conclusion: Even though I appreciate the chain-link mechanic, the overall value is still low, with bland and cheap presentation and not much else than the chain system to spice up gameplay. Match3 has gotten very saturated and I am removing this for declutter.
