Cool take on the Chrismas Carol story. 360 narration with minimal interaction, lasts ~20min with credits. Voice acting is excellent. Graphics where... ok, leaning on the very dark side, on the index there are parts that got lost in the darkness. Performance was horrendous averaging 40fps with a 1080, i lowered the SS to .8 and it still struggled. There are no options, neither graphical or audio or any, other than go back, and start. No subtitles either. While a cool way to show the classic tale, the performance made me feel dizzy when i finished it, even if all but 1 scene is totally static. Not bad, but it could use some polishing and adding options. Cant recommend because i didnt get the enjoyment i thought i would from it, but it might be worth it for some.
An interesting attempt at the well known & loved story of Redemption. The graphics are good but there is little interaction with the scenery or characters. The biggest issues I had is that failed to tell any of the story, nothing about Fan,Belle, Fezziwig not even Tiny Tim gets a mention. The American accents for Marley & the ghosts also didn't work for me. A bit of a Humbug really.
Played this game 3 times and it looks very good visually but crashed all 3 times at the same spot not sure why
Was expecting something closer to the story, but in VR as a VR movie. Instead, it's mocapped actors straining their voices monologing insisting that this isn't your life you're looking at. At a technical aspect, this is amazing, and could possibly make way for more cool ♥♥♥♥ in VR, but as an adaptation of Christmas Carol, maybe not. Also felt more like it was trying to hard to be edgy instead of following the horror-like aspects of the original story. Performance also left quite a lot to be desired, especially during the Christmas Past sequence, where the dynamic lighting on the character seems to cause massive frame rate loss. Also, it can't be paused. I tried watching it on Christmas, but had to quit the movie (which is entirely in 3D, which is pretty cool) and didn't want to restart it.
Chained does not have good enough visuals or story to be a memorable cinematic VR experience. Environments and lighting are ok, but the characters are modeled and animated poorly, backgrounds are very low res and the whole thing somehow manages to stutter in some scenes on a hardware way above the requirements. It works on Reverb G2 just fine.
Looks cool but keeps crashing when I try to watch it :(

VR controllers don't show on Oculus Rift. Unable to start the experience from the main menu
A little less than 30 min. Not a big fan of the story. If you have money to spare, why not, but it's not really incredible. Also it doesn't allow you to had subtitle. Could have been nice too.
