CELL is a short non-linear visual novel in a post-apocalypse/cyberpunk setting. Kenzo is an artificially grown human who lived his entire life alone isolated with a sweet, but artificial service intelligence. He's not okay. Help him to go through the disturbing situation he's about to get into.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
CELL 0 is a prologue to CELL visual novel series. Humans are fragile.
The humanity was destroyed by a quantum artificial intelligence - Omniscient, a global service program, the peak of technological advancement. The extinction occurred within a single day. No records remain of the events, as no survivors exist to recall them.
Kenzo’s existence is a result of improbable circumstances. Artificially grown after the collapse, he was raised by Acine, an assistant AI, deep underground in a place called CELL. Originally designed as a secure residential complex for former global powers, CELL was left incomplete and operates at minimal functionality. Kenzo knows nothing of his purpose; the truth is locked behind layers of inaccessible data. His only contact was Acine and social simulations - poor substitutes for real life. While outwardly functional, his mental state is fragile. The prospect of encountering another living being lingers in his thoughts, but is he ready for what is to come? Why was he created? What led to the collapse, and does it retain any significance? What does existence mean in a world governed by non-user-centric systems?
FYI: Some of the game's dialogues use technical terminology and references that may not be self-explanatory to some players.

Be cautious with them. In a post-transhuman world where it’s impossible to distinguish simulation from reality, everything and everyone may not be what they seem.

Acine - your friendly AI assistant. The Service Intelligence System (SIS), developed by Riten Consulting Group in Tokyo, Japan, was designed to oversee the well-being of CELL inhabitants. However, it was still in its early development stages. Its most stable builds were deployed as tools for CELL construction crews, but none were approved for public use, consistently failing critical communication security protocols.

Enaid - striking in appearance yet strangely out of sync with herself. Her behavior clashes with her looks, marked by visible stress and an inability to articulate her disjointed perceptions. She often seems tired, lost in a fog of exhaustion and confusion. Conversations with her are difficult, as she tends to speak in a complicated and sometimes incoherent manner.

Lav - cheerful and talkative, her demeanor feels almost too stable, bordering on suspicious. Beneath her approachable and open-minded surface lie extremes that emerge without warning - sharp, uncompromising traits that unsettle as they unfold. What seems harmless at first glance quickly becomes harder to ignore.

Hirai - observant to an unsettling degree. While her attention to detail can be comforting, it often works almost like x-rays, making interactions a little uncomfortable. Her emotions are subtle, barely detectable, and rarely visible. What she feels must be deciphered from what she says rather than what she shows, leaving one close to her, and her far from everyone.
There are so many stories already written out there.
But the one focusing on human psyche are still rare especially when you move the prisoner dilema into such abstract cyberpunk hotel version. I wish there was more... Not only was it absolutely intriguing with writing style characters, decisions and environment. It was logical, compasionate and unique prologue. Music and presentation is something that stands out here tremendously with ambients and sound effects. The only thing I wish I could see in a potential sequel would be Voice Acting and CG's. CELL Had only one graphic scene outside of talking segments and dream comics sequences. This game definetely deserves more attention at least for it's mood and presentation of the world. Well Done.
Атмосферна та цікава візуальна новела з якісним сюжетом та цікавими персонажами. Не соромтесь заглянути в файли гри, там є трохи бонусів) Однозначно рекомендую!

Very interesting little game. CELL 0: Cyber Entertainment Leisure Lounge is an amazing prologue that shows some great promise for future entries in the CELL series, I'd love to follow the dev/s if they set up a social media profile and/or website. The setting is very intriguing and thought-provoking.
Дуже чекаю продовження
This was a really great short story that I enjoyed very much. The topics that are brought up have a lot of depth to them. The certain endings really make me wish there were more to the story. If you like visual novels, I'd definitely recommend picking this one up.
I'm usually not one to review games, but I quite enjoyed this story and I want to do what I can to help spread the word about it, so here's a couple of my thoughts. The world building I found very interesting. It's drip-fed through the character interactions in a way that gives some ideas of what the world was like before and how advanced society was before it all collapsed, but doesn't overdo it, and leaves plenty up for speculation. There's also plenty to be seen in even the smallest of details, like all the chalk drawings around the room portraying a lively and lived-in air to the place, subtly showing that at one point that Kenzo was an innocent child playing around in this room with practically no supervision or limitations. This ties in well with how the game explores the idea of human psyche. Being completely isolated from people your whole life, with only an in-development AI and general social simulations, leads to a warped understanding of people, "norms", and a lot of other things. CELL is able to capture this idea pretty well in the character's dialogue/interactions with each other, really adding to the strength of the story and immersion. The one real issue I have is that the sentence structure and grammar can be a bit awkward at times. You can look over most of it by considering that the characters themselves may not speak clearly due to the circumstances, but it can make it hard to understand what was said. Either way, I really enjoyed the read and I can't wait to see how this is continued in the next game.
This was super atmospheric and thought provoking. Makes you want to know more about this setting. I love the dynamic between MC and Acine
I enjoyed the story on this one. The vibe and atmosphere alone were fantastic, and I was disappointed only by how short the game was.
Had this on my wishlist for a while and now that I've played the game I'm disappointing I didn't get it sooner. I really enjoyed the depth of the dialogue, the art, and the music. I hope that in the future the creators doesn't shy away from covering 'unsavory' topics like the one that was in the demo but cut from the main prologue. All in all, good VN, here's hoping the creators can keep making them in the future.
I really really like this game. Something about it just grips me really hard. I really hope CELL 1 is in the making, because if so I’ll be buying it! The art for this game is gorgeous, I booted it up just to stare at the backgrounds and characters to be honest. My favorite one to interact with is Acine! I’ve always liked characters that’re robots or AI, they’re always so cool. This game does a really good job of getting you into the main character’s head and making you feel the way he does. Without getting into too much detail, it really is kind of miserable to live the kind of life the MC is living in this game. Won’t you help him? Or... Will you do something else? As for spoiler stuff:
Ending 01 really felt incredible to me. I always go into VNs with full intention to play as I would play out the situation. I’ve always been fascinated with AI and the possibility of AI’s gaining sentience and their own consciousnesses. So, naturally, I deluded myself repeatedly despite Acine’s constant warning me away from it. To see her become so cold and blunt with the player character (and myself by extension) was honestly really cool and felt very warranted. It’s the culmination of you pushing back against reality until it fully crashes down on you. Your death is fully the consequences of your own actions. Despite it not being what I initially wanted or expected, I do feel like being a dreamer was worth it just to have the experience of reality crashing into me.
