About
Exo-archaeologist Bale arrives on Tor Ulsat with his colleague Jen, an exo-linguist, to study the ruins of the lost Tor civilisation. But when he unwittingly activates the Chronolith - an ancient alien device - reality shatters. Jen vanishes, and Bale is trapped in a fractured world where time loops and echoes of the past and future bleed together.
With no way to contact mission control, Bale must navigate countless obstacles, unravel the fate of the Tor, and outwit the cryptic and mysterious forces that oppose him. As reality unravels and truth remains buried in the ruins, Bale's only hope is to solve the mystery of the Tor - before he's lost to the loop forever.

Record, re-record, and replay. Use the signature 'Echo Branching' mechanic to record your actions and engage with up to three echoes of your past self. Harness these duplicates to skillfully learn to manipulate ancient alien systems that once seemed impossible to navigate.

Explore beautiful environments through fifteen hand-crafted chapters filled with secrets that will allow you to unravel the mystery of this alien planet.

Explore a mysterious alien planet through the lens of an emotional and thought-provoking story, with the puzzles always supporting the momentum of the underlying narrative.

Absolutely stunning graphics and overall design! Lots of fun to play while figuring stuff out. Mostly impressed by the Echo Mechanic and how it works. 10/10 would recommend!
一款不太casual(休闲)的叙事解谜游戏。
Visualmente me sorprendió bastante.
The aesthetics are simply astounding, but somehow either my gpu is asking for too much power or the cpu is above safe temperature so I need to lower the graphics settings a bit to not trigger kernel power 41. Great game overall.
Pros: - Good pacing, never felt like a section was dragging on and new mechanics were introduced gradually - Varied puzzles - Great environment/art design - Story is engaging - The characters grew on me quite a bit, and the voice actor performances were great. Bale is a bit annoying at the start, but I think it serves a narrative purpose as he grows and gets less annoying throughout the story - Runs well, had one bug (clipped into a slope and got stuck) but wasn't able to replicate it and had no other issues Cons: - Some of the timing based puzzles are very strict, would be nice to have an option to extend time limits for things like buttons a bit - The symbols can be difficult to differentiate, which gets especially difficult in later levels when things are more spread out, it can be hard to find what a button even activated. Could maybe benefit from waypoints to things that activated out of view, and/or having numbers or something next to the symbols to tell them apart more easily - The jump is frustratingly short My complaints only became a problem in the final quarter of the game and were pretty minor, but still enough to create friction. I'm recommending it as I think the experience as a whole is good, but would like to see these things addressed. Overall great game, would love to see more from this team.
A game based entirely on annoying mechanics, and somehow works. Clearly inspired by Talos Principle's ever-hated recorder puzzles, this game's primary mechanic is recording yourself so that there is more than one of you. Yet, for the majority of the chapters, this is completely unused for anything but opening the exit once the puzzle is already solved. Instead, the majority of the puzzles are a game of hot-potato with explosives which, for some reason, the recording cannot interact with in any capacity. Basically, they gutted the recording mechanic so that it cannot do anything other than press buttons, and as a result, avoid all the annoying overcomplicated aspects of the puzzles in Talos Principle. Level design here is quite.... confusing. Much of the navigation is through teleporters and the connections between puzzle elements are signage-based. This means much of the difficulty comes from figuring out what two (or more) items are linked together. Usually I would spend about ten minutes just finding the first step. Of course, once you put the pieces together, the puzzle feels rewarding to solve, and this actually gets better in the final chapters. Pros: Everything looks amazing; better than expected. Secrets everywhere! The HUD is quite helpful and the controls are simple. Great endgame. Fully-skippable dialog. Cons: Frustrating level design. The primary mechanic is implemented too late. The scannables are rarely the actual objects. No option to respawn, which can sometimes cause softlocks. Pointless F-bombs are sometimes thrown in. I'm giving it a 8/10, which is great for a game made by such a small team.
