Catlike Magic

The plot in this game is by far the best plot I have ever witnessed in any videogame. I'm not spoiling it for you, just buy it and play it. It's got lesbian cats, I mean do you really, (like seriously, REALLY), do you REALLY need anything else in your game besides lesbian cats? The gameplay is also super fun. Unlike most modern games that over-polish the mechanics such that you're not allowed to have too much fun, this game lets you have so much fun that your computer explodes.

"Catlike Magic" is a top-down auto-shooter featuring a [strike]lesbian[/strike] cursed cat in her journey to break the curse that was bestowed upon her! [i]Or so she believes anyway...[/i] The story is cute and utterly absurd; I love it! At a first glance, to some it might look offensive but it isn't. It cleverly colors the mindset of discovering yourself and refusing to accept the reality. When everyone is trying to support you and raise awareness to your truth but you prefer to stay blind and oblivious to it because of.. reasons! Self discovery isn't easy! And neither is this game. It is though, unforgettable and very very fun. Prepare for some crazy dialogue! What it lacks in graphics and animations (although, you gotta admit, those pixels are cute), it substitutes in gameplay. Looks can be deceiving, don't people say? Well this is a prime example of "don't judge a book by its cover". There are many different skills and items to use, all divergent. You can also upgrade and gain different abilities. Depending on your luck, try various fun strategies and playstyles. 4 unlockable characters and 2 difficulty settings (save and checkpoint option). Will we ever learn what "sexo" does?... Due to the entertaining gameplay and to the fact that in each playthrough it's random what abilities you'll have, it has lots of replayability. You are in it for many hours of fun if you wish so! A single playthrough shouldn't take more than 1-2 hours depending on your skills as a player, what abilities you chose and your luck. It requires strategy and careful planning though. If you go "all guns blazing" and make random upgrades without thinking if they can be linked to the rest, you are bound to never break the curse! Surprisingly complex in mechanics but simultaneously simple to progress and play. Extremely fun! I didn't encounter any bugs. It's a completely underrated and underappreciated game that deserves more exposure and attention! Highly recommended! I love this game I wish there were more stories and the option for naked sprites. I hope the devs dont die horribly in the next 2-4 months

This game is pretty good but also I feel like there could be some QoL changes (maybe like indicating what stat a skill scales with bc you only see it in when you pick it for the first time in a run).
